You mention the nose of the extractor touching the round being Intentional and talked about in other videos, but I can’t find which videos you’re referring to. Can you explain the purpose of that?
As somebody who is new to the 1911 world and would like to get into a double stacked 9mm I have been looking at the prodigy. However I would also be happy to save up a little more and pay for a staccato. I have watched your video on the prodigy and though it to be extremely informative. This video made my decision.

It is basically done due to the variety of ammo (steel case, aluminum case, junk range ammo) that people are wanting to shoot.
