A place to learn about Chambers Custom Pistols as well as learn the math behind many other popular 1911 and 2011's from the past and currently.
Mathematical Review: Staccato C
I have heard of these and even seen one but this is the first time ever measuring one for 1911 University. This might be the greatest concept for a 1911 style carry gun in the past 50 years in my opinion. Small, light, customizable. I like a lot of the features on these. All it needs is a flat wire recoil system and RDSM(TM) plate for something like a 507K or EPS and it would be straight fire in my opinion for the person wanting a small, lightweight all day carry option.
It's too bad Staccato discontinued this fabulous little single stack....

Mathematical Review: Staccato P Duo Threaded
มุมมอง 4.2Kปีที่แล้ว
Here we have a new, unfired, Staccato P Duo with threaded barrel. The numbers on this gun are really quite good considering the cost! I have liked these guns and their build quality since they were introduced and they continue to impress with their consistent math.

Here is a review of one of our own, Night Fighter #20 after 14,300 recorded rounds by the client. These green grips are great to see in the shop so we can keep track of how our quality and measurements are holding up in various environments and conditions.

Here we have a NIB Taurus Government Model in .45Auto. This gun was picked off the line and sent directly to me from the factory to measure and give feedback. With a low entry point and good features it may be an attractive option for people wanting to test the waters of the 1911 world. But remember, the math don't lie, 3.14 is always Pi... Another popular bone stock single stack wandered into my shop NIB for review. Pretty darn good measurements for the price! I really do enjoy looking at this brand. They do a lot right from what I have measured.

A great gun for the money, this light weight government model .45 would make a swell option for anyone looking for an affordable pistol without a lot of bling.

The ILS mainspring and Imbel era was over more than a decade ago.
I'm always late to these things. Springfield serial numbers is now how to tell the S. America models. If you have a N or NM serial, you have a Brazil made, Illinois finished gun. 😮
Have you considered sending one of yours out to be reviewed? I'd love to see you as a guest or just send one out to Honest Outlaw
There are several unbiased reviews of my guns on YT from guys like Sage Dynamics, Target Pistol Guy and Djarin
🤮🤢 Springfield do better!!! Jeeezzz! Hot garbage
Do you think the Springfield professional model is really custom post contract
Where can I get the marvel disconnect improvement done on a colt competition pistol.
Good stuff Joe, glad I found your channel.
I sure do wish I could afford one. Would be my off duty carry for sure. Anything from CC I’d carry.
I have the Wheeler Electronic trigger gauge and just received my NRA weight set from Brownells. I get the same readings using NRA weight set and Wheeler, within 1 oz. Maybe Wheeler did an upgrade to eliminate the trigger firing weight spike.
That's amazing. I've been using the Wheeler trigger scale for ever. So is Wheeler stuff just mass market garbage?
I’ll just buy a Sig, thanks!
I run 15 recoil spring and 20 pound hammer spring.
I’ve got one of those, absolutely unreliable, either the weights like you are using or the spring loaded venier style are more reliable.
I can't wait to send mine out!! While I have added a Staccato to the arsenal, I just want to feel the difference from the before and after!
Sweet 👍
Cool info 👍👍

finally a reviewer who is intelligent the only guy I have found on you tube who has anything worth listening to
I was told the spring style was more accurate than the digital

Do a standard manufacturing 1911
Oh my god, joe with no beard lord help us!
Wish these were suitable hosts for .460 Rowland conversions, especially the TAC Ultra dbl stacks. Apparently, they're only spot-treated, not fully hardened, and Rowland says they haven't been able to get ANY dbl-stack's to run reliably...
Clown
I saw this review of yours. Then I bought a Garrison Stainless .45. I'm curious. The gun is tight, accurate, beautiful. I am satisfied.
Great explanation. I have the same problem with the disconnector, therefore I get a lot of failure to battery.
I can't take No more of this shit
Oh? How so?
Joe - Excellent insight into the problem of the slide running into the disconnector after overcoming the main spring. Just spent a day modifying the disconnector head and doing an amateur “Marvel” disco cut. I found my biggest culprit to be the poor finish on the trigger bow and sear spring. Took a couple of hours of trial and error to get the sear spring tuned in but it runs much butter now. It’s no “Night Fighter” but it at least runs now.
You don't know what you're talking about that gun is designed that way quit hating on America's gun
It's designed what way?
@@ChambersCustom yes that particular design is designed to be very snug tight slide and frame and Barrel locking fit that's the way it was designed and I'll have you know that those guns are superior to polymer wonders in the sense that they can take a hell of a lot more heavy-duty firing than any polymer job steel frame and slide can go to 100,000 rounds
@@ivansanta-maria1328 you clearly don't comprehend what I do here...
@@ChambersCustom yeah I clearly comprehend that you're hating on America's gun a Glock explode from excessive long-term pressures a 1911 will not a Glock will go maybe 20 25,000 rounds a 1911 will easily reach 100,000 provided you just change out the barrel every 10,000 rounds or so 1911 is meant to be tight did her because her breaching to slide lock up too tight? What do you mean by that it's supposed to be tight she's meant to be tight in all those areas
@@ivansanta-maria1328 LOL...you are clueless.
*The Wheeler gauge is the best of them. The nice thing, most people don't realize, if your trigger guard is big enough, you can push on the back of the sensor like you're pulling the trigger. That is the most accurate reading. You don't have to 'pull' it.*
The best of what? It's not better than traditional NRA weights made of metal.
@@ChambersCustom its lighter and does averages and other metrics. however, its shortcoming is if you use incorrect measuring technique you can throw off the results. ideally you configure the process to get consistent measurements that agree with whatever standard you are comparing such as the NRA trigger weights
Is there a reason you are afraid of using their proper name?
When I did this video there was no fear. It was out of respect and the way I did the videos at the time. Now I openly name all the guns as they are.
How do you "respect" a manufacturer by willingly calling it something other than its real name? @@ChambersCustom
Same problems with the ruger 1911 and colt gov models. Sold them faster than a cat can lick his ass. 😂
You mentioned swapping out the Recoil Master to a flat wire set up. I haven’t seen anyone who sells a kit to do this, at least one that is marked that it will work in a C. Do you sell the correct parts, or possibly have a link to something that will work?
We do not sell one and honestly I have not had time to work on what spring set up would work properly.
All gonna say is I don’t know who this dude is, but I changed my recoil spring to #16, and mainspring to 20#, thanks to a random FB post from Joe. My staccato p has never shot so flat! Glad I found you.
Where did you go to buy them?
'Promo sm'
I love listening to intelligent people
Have one. Works great no problems. Have a shadows systems, junk.500 rounds still jams
Don't know why Springfield doesn't finish ream their barrels. I purchased a 9 mm EMP Ronin. 4-in version. Throat was shorter than my gen 5. Glock 19. Ridiculous. Had to pay for a gunsmith to ream it.
Fantastic review. Thank you for doing it, Joe. I maintain that the Staccato C is a delightful and under-appreciated little shooter. I love mine.
I would still Love to see Joe send one of his Custom double stack 1911 (2011) to Chris at the Honest outlaw youtube channel. Chris is a high level shooter and he does reviews of high end 2011's his take on Joe's pistols would be awesome
I have two Cs. One is older STI stamped, Irons only model. Second is newer Staccato C with red dot. The Older C is tighter fit than my two XCs, literally ZERO movement. I EDC the newer one, with Comped Barrel and ESP Carry. Added Atlas flat trigger, stippled grip, extended mag release and extended slide stop. Shooting the gun at distance better than full size .
Staccato seems to be consistent in what needs a bit of improvement. That’s pathetic for that particular Infinity pistol to have zero barrel fit.
I do not know what the hammer hooks being dressed for overtravel means. Can you expound on that?
Do you like flat wire recoil springs in general or just on shorter guns?
Just on shorter guns
Go Chiefs!
DNC 1776.....🇺🇸
Is there any MIM in that pistol ? 🇺🇸✊
Not to my knowledge.
I have one with an optic, it has feed every self-defense ammo I have ever run through it, 90 grain, 115, 124's and 147's. really a cool gun
Love CCO format guns. Everything you need and nothing you don't.
