Metal detecting VIRGIN ground #6, BIG SILVERS!

- A local construction project began removing old cement slabs exposing 1800's soil! This is ground that has NEVER been metal detected before. Coins are shallow and some even on top of the ground. A bountiful harvest indeed!
All finds will be shown in a final video!

Fantastic site. Can't wait to see the wrap up. It's a shame to think that all that stuff would have been covered up with asphalt. Good thing you guys were able to get in there to save it.
Yeah, it's been dry as a bone here too. Glad I had this worked ground that I didn't have to worry about making clean digs.

Sweet finds. You need to do a wrap up. It is killing me. Lol. I am back to dirt hunting after this hot summer here in the south and have not found silver yet. I am stuck at 53 for the year before summer.

Yep, the original parking area that was removed was laid back in the 1950s. 60 years under concrete waiting to see the light of day. The coins left there today will probably still be there under the new concrete for at least another 60 years.

None. I waited until the concrete was poured before posting the first video. I was hunting this place a LOT. I'm sure it was no secret to anyone who had a detector that someone was spending a lot of time here. I talked to everyone else who hunted here. They are all good people and I now have new friends who also detect.
Them Buck Jones Club Rings can go for $30+ on Ebay.
They didn't remove any of the dirt, it just got moved to fill in other locations at this spot.

Hey Silver Fiend! These are great videos! I can't believe how many coins you found just around the Courthouse. The super cool finds are the tokens and jewelry! I just borrowed my mom's White's detector but am not sure if it works that amazing yet. I live in Durand Michigan in a 100 year old house and have found a few things but no coins yet. Have you been to Michigan and If so, any good spots to detect?
Are you crazy?! Florida has hundreds of more years of civilization than my town. On top of that, you have a state surrounded by beaches filled with lost gold and silver jewelry, not to mention all that Spanish treasure. Get out there and find some!

Everywhere from on the surface to 8 inches. Of course, that after dirt scraping, so some there were originally 16-18 inches deep

Yep, I had permission, and yes, the sheriff's deputies came by all the time. They loved seeing what I was finding.
