I don't metal detect(although I'd love to at some point), but I collect/restore antique electric fans and am a big aviation history buff, so I really appreciate seeing people my age that also enjoy all this history. I came across Nugget's TH-cam Channel just browsing one day and WOW, I am really excited about beginning this new chapter in my life. Where you found the pot could have very easily been with remains of an old house( probably the kitchen) the rocks on top may have been from a chimney I would have looked around a bit more.

I have some spending money I could use on a detector. Do you, or anyone else, have good suggestions for for a nice, mid-level detector? It's always nice to get opinions on things people have used before.
Thanks, a good starter machine would be the Garrett Ace 250 for around $200 dollars, it's pretty basic and easy to use. a more mid level to pro machine would be the AT pro, that's what I use on my hunts, it's simple too but has a little learning curve, both machines are great. The AT pro is underwater proof to 10 ft too, sells for around $600 bucks. good luck picking a detector!

I'm into that sorf of stuff and I'm a girl. When I was a little girl my grandad(who isn't your regular old one that needs a walking stick) would take me on steep walks/ climbs on the hills of Scotland (where i live) and i would always get dirty or hurt myself but I wouldn't care because I loved it. Also when we would go on muddy walks I would always "test" the mud/puddles to make sure they weren't too deep for him (I only did it as an excuseto get in the mud).
It's a military ammo dump pouch, had places your shotgun shells on the sides and a pull strap to close the pouch to keep stuff from falling out. I have been using it a few years now and I love it! , Thanks for watching! I will have another video up soon. im not sure the brand, I do know it was $50 but they sell cheaper ones for like 12 bucks, then again you get what you pay for. I had the cheaper ones and they broke from carrying too much heavy junk in them lol .

I have some spending money I could use on a detector. Do you, or anyone else, have good suggestions for for a nice, mid-level detector? It's always nice to get opinions on things people have used before.
Thanks, a good starter machine would be the Garrett Ace 250 for around $200 dollars, it's pretty basic and easy to use. a more mid level to pro machine would be the AT pro, that's what I use on my hunts, it's simple too but has a little learning curve, both machines are great. The AT pro is underwater proof to 10 ft too, sells for around $600 bucks. good luck picking a detector!

I'm into that sorf of stuff and I'm a girl. When I was a little girl my grandad(who isn't your regular old one that needs a walking stick) would take me on steep walks/ climbs on the hills of Scotland (where i live) and i would always get dirty or hurt myself but I wouldn't care because I loved it. Also when we would go on muddy walks I would always "test" the mud/puddles to make sure they weren't too deep for him (I only did it as an excuseto get in the mud).

It's a military ammo dump pouch, had places your shotgun shells on the sides and a pull strap to close the pouch to keep stuff from falling out. I have been using it a few years now and I love it! , Thanks for watching! I will have another video up soon. im not sure the brand, I do know it was $50 but they sell cheaper ones for like 12 bucks, then again you get what you pay for. I had the cheaper ones and they broke from carrying too much heavy junk in them lol .
They usually use the actual sack part to hold extra grenades
+c8morgan no its a dump pouch there used to hold empty mags so you dont have to put them back into the pouches
