24 hours in Kaeng Krachan: wildlife in the rain

  • Is one day enough in Kaeng Krachan National Park? More time would be preferable, but sometimes 24 hours can be sufficient to see, do and experience a lot and simply recharge the batteries. The rain kept coming and going, reflecting my mood and the real nature of this poignant trip, but in the end the joy of being out there with wildlife did indeed triumph, and I even managed to get shots of some amazing birds.

    Excellent, the whole park for yourself! btw where are these places with the gaurs then the Great hornbills, are they below the lower campsite, or between both?

      I saw both on the road in before reaching Bang Krang campsite, but Great Hornbills can often be seen about 2km past BK campsite.
