    Hey Jakub, enjoying your videos and I'd like to see you create a video on Flying drones.... What are the rules & how do decide what footage would best support your film? and how to fly to get the best cinematic footage

    Nice little rig rundown! I’d be interested in how you manage to record multiple audio sources when filming documentary. Recently, I’ve had some shoots where I used a shotgun mic on-camera and two lavs on the characters (which worked quite well with the Panasonic adapter you were talking about).
    The two things that got me a little nervous though were a) to adjust the gain for 3 sources while filming and b) hiding lavs on the characters. If you have a video on that or could talk about that in a future video, that would be very much appreciated!

      Great question! Yeah this is a little tricky, especially if you are running 3 sources.
      You definitely have to check if the mic are attached properly so there’s no rustle from the shirts and then focus on monitoring the lavs. Shotgun does a good job most of the time.
      Another option would be hire sound guy to help you.
      I def plan on making a video about how to mic up properly👍🏼

    Hi, I saw you are a Kinefinity User. And You have The Lumix Cameras. I have almost all the Lumix Cameras and am looking to buy a cinema camera. I have 3 options: F6:inity Movo Mark II LF or S35, Sony FX6 or FX9. I am going to shoot low-budget Feature Films. But I don't know if ProRes422 HD is good enough. Nowadays, the RAW Option is very popular, and Many New Cameras support Prores RAW with Atomos Recorders. The file size is also tiny in RAW Format. So, what do you suggest, or what is your experience with MOVO with 422 HD. I don't want to go with Higher because it will be too big. I do have brand New Panasonic EVA1.

      Hey, I'm indeed Kinefinity user.
      From my experience the Kinefinity image just looks much more filmic compared to Sony camera. It's more on par with RED or Arri (especially the color science). I haven't shot anything higher than Prores 422HQ as I haven't needed it and the Prores 422HQ has enough information for most of the stuff I do.
      If you plan on using VFX, then then RAW might be a better option.
      At the end it really depends which cameras are you the most comfortable using as all of the camera above can produce a good image.
      If you want, here are some files for you to test: www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/1eqjocsq1g2wvvmqz3gjp/h?rlkey=5k847oz31bpa01rzir95mhy6r&dl=0

      Thank you So much. I will try to grade the files. I did black magic RAW on Divinchi, which is very easy to edit, white balance, and so much more, and the RAW file size is easy to handle. But I will try this, personally, after watching footage from Mavo. I am in love with this camera and serenely want to try this. 2nd reason is because of the high frame rate shooting. @@JakubChlouba

    Currently, I have the thought that if I don't have a Sony camera I won't be able to succeed. Instagram has made me think that. I have to change it.

    • @JakubChlouba
      @JakubChlouba  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Guillem, that is definitely a false believe that IG created in you. You can literally make films with any camera. What camera do you have currently?

      I have the Lumix G7, with a single 50mm manual lens (7artisans). It is a very low-cost piece of equipment, but it works for me to do university work. I've been working for almost 1 year, and I currently have some money saved. I would like to take a step forward in quality in my videos and photos. But I'm undecided which equipment to buy. I'm between the Lumix S5, the Fuji xh2s and some Sony. As I told you, it seems that the ones that Sony has are the best and I don't know if I'm willing to pay the cost, due to the fact that having "that" equipment with me could motivate me to do more things. If I bought the Lumix I would have a little more money to invest in other things, like a Mac or more lenses. On the other hand, with the Fuji or the Sony, no.
      Thank you very much for responding to my comment. You're a good guy!@@JakubChlouba

      @@JakubChlouba I have the Lumix G7 with a super cheap 50mm. That for doing university work is good for me. But I want to start creating more serious content. These last few months I have been able to save money and I want to improve my team. I'm undecided, and I don't know why I should decide. I had thought about a Lumix S5, which due to its cost would allow me to invest in other tools, then, I had thought about the Fuji xh2s, which is one step ahead but is more expensive. And some Sony (zve1, a6700...). What would you recommend to me?
      Thanks for answering, you're a great guy!

    • @JakubChlouba
      @JakubChlouba  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What a coincidence man, Lumix G7 was my first camera haha!
      My thoughts on the cameras:
      Lumix S5 is a great little camera with beautiful color and incredible stabilisation. I personally love Lumix and will most likely get the S5 II as a b-cam this year. I would consider looking at S5II if you can afford as that camera will last you years.
      Fujifilm XH2S - I haven't tried the camera but heard it's also amazing, it is APS-C sensor tho. But I love Fujifilm colors and the design.
      ZVE1/A6700 - I don't have experience with these cameras compared to the previous 2 I feel like they are lacking some tools. The bodies are small, more for vloggers and TH-camrs than filmmakers.
      In the end it really comes down to what system you prefer and what is your style of shooting. You can create great images with all of these cameras.
