Wow I wish I had you to fix my Note 4.
WTF! At 8:00 you tell us to adhere the screen back onto the midframe, then at 8:52 you have the screen still separate from the midframe barely putting it on! It's much easier to put it on after you attach the motherboard but your video has an error!
Yes, he made a huge error. I was wondering the same because I had a difficult time putting the two connection together to begin with because of the adhesive. I agree that it would have been much easier to put the mother board on first and then put the two connections from the digitizer screen on and then work down to align the home button into its slot and not the other way around. It was totally confusing. I was careful to not tear the copper sheet apart but the new touch screen came with it. Now I'll put it all back together to see if it works. Might have to thumbs down for that huge mistake, plus looks like some steps are missing to put it all back together.

@@samv42 yeah that definitely should have been edited out, its a pretty big screw up, luckily i was able to get it back apart before the adhesive/glue set. but yeah, I didnt notice until it was practically too late. and after i tried forcing the connections with the midframe and new screen already adhered. Luckily I was able to save mine but others following along might not have been so lucky.

Great video, thank you. I have a question, I've seen the touch have these dead spots, they're relatively small ant are exactly on the center top. When I remove the back cover the touch it works normally, but when I put it back the dead spots appear again.
I'm not an expert, but I believe it has somethig to do with a pressure of some kind (or in some specific point) when I put the back cover, other think that ocurrs to me is that the screws need to be more thightened. I don't know how to fix this issue, is there any help or advice you can provide me? I'll really appreciate it. Thanks
Thank you guys, I actually found out the cause of this problem before trying the factory reset, it was the memory card. I removed it and put it back and it was working all normal again, I've never thought it has something to do but now is working perfectly. Maybe it was somehow misplaced or something like that. I appreciate your help anyways and of course I wanted to share this in case somebody else has the same issue. Thank you

I don't understand as nobody else completely took the Note 4 apart to replace the screen?
I dropped my note 4 & it looked like black ink spreading on the screen. Now its completely black. If I purchase your repair kit & follow these steps, will that fix my issue?
I replaced my note 4 middle bezel. The new bezel didnt come with all the accessories such as the speaker and antennas. after finishing the transfer i noticed that the speaker was very distorted. so i thought i had damaged it while pealing the speaker from the old frame. fast forward 2 weeks and i ordered yet another frame, but this time everything was included in it. i only had to install the motherboard along with the screen. and the new speaker that came with the frame is still giving me the same symptoms. The volume is very low, and the distortion is makes my ear want to bleed.
are the seals for the speaker very important. im wondering if its a common thing with samsung speakers. i heard a friend once had the same problem with his s3 immediately after opening his phone up. do you guys have any suggestions

Quick question, I have taken apart my NOTE 4 to get some dust from under the front facing camera, but now the screen is bit loose from the glue that use to hold the screen down. What can I use to keep it firm again? Thanks

I have a doubt, the screens of the different models of Galaxy Note 4 are compatible with each other? For example, the N910f screen is compatible with the N910c.
The only thing that means is what Region/Carrier the phone is for. The screens are the same, not the logic boards.
one question... if you change the screen and the LCD will your information fully erase?

+Taylor Boling Should not affect the S Pen on your device. The foil shown on the video is a shield to protect the display assembly.
Hello...! I have a Note 4 and I replaced the display as it broke. After i replaced it with a brand new display, the phone still shows a black screen. The LED light and the menu and back button do light up but there is not display....
Any suggestion on how to troubleshoot this issue ?

I need some help. I switched motherboard from one N910F to another one and now the GPS doesn't connect to satellites. What could I've done wrong? Where are the parts responsible for the GPS located? Does it have to do with the USB charging port module? Help plz!

+Haris Khan Normally the battery gets hot but also your logic board from simply using the device. The processor tends to get hot once being used. However, it should not get excessively hot. If it continues, you may want to have a technician review it. But it's possible as you stated there is apps running in the background causing this issue.
I Disassembled my Phone and than assembled it again and my screen us Now black ...the small light in the Corner works and the Button Lights too. ..and it vibrates but the screen stays black ...could you help Please?

I had the same issue I reopened and found that the LCD connectors weren't tightly connecter to motherboard.

can I ask about diagnostics? my screen went black. I can answer calls with the home button I can even open the pattern blindly but nothing is displayed except the left top led blinking during turn on and off. please help
Sounds like the LCD is damaged. You can attempt to inspect the flex cable connection to ensure it's properly seated. If it is and the issue continues, you may require a new LCD and Touch screen assembly.

Mi phone screen is not broken and the touch pad has no damage. The phones turns on because you carn hear it starting and vibrating even the blue led indicator also blinks. My wife let the cell falls to the ground and it turned off. It is possible that the screen got damaged with this fall? Already have it opened and theres is nothing disconnected! Thanks in advance!
+Luis De la Torre Hi I have the same problem phone turns off and is responsive when i plug it onto the computer, but the screen doesn't turn on, i also tried disconnecting everything and reconnecting it back and it didn't help. But for me it didn't die upon dropping, but it just didn't turn on after a reset...
+Luis De la Torre Yes, sounds like the LCD is the issue. The LCD is underneath your front glass and this seems to be the issue for you. You would require replacing the LCD and Touch screen assembly.

I dropped my Note 4 and the screen is super dim. It's not cracked but I think something came undone. When I lift the screen up with my nail it works perfectly. It's weird bc everything works, it shows its charging, my sensory buttons work, it detects that I took out the stylus, rings, vibrates ect it's just super dim, I can barely see anything. Do you know what's wrong with it?
+brittany The bac-light is most likely the issue. You would want to replace the LCD and Touch screen assembly to resolve this issue.

my phone has lost it's spen recognition, I had to change the lcd panel and now if I press realy hard on the new screen it kind of recognises the pen for a few seconds and then there is a weird sticky sound and the pen stops working again. Why is this happening? I didn't switch the screen myself, I had it done, but it realy worries me.
+arturoicetre The S Pen has its own digitizer which may have not been installed. Or the connection was not seated properly. We recommend having the technician review this for you.

hi my note 4 screen was broken.. needed to replace the lcd.. now the new touch screen itself is working but the menu and back buttons aren't working properly (HOme button in the middle is alright) .. menu/back buttons light up and they do work but with some pressure.. they are not working with the ease and light touch they used to...what is wrong ?? how to fix It???
the problem is with the digitizer..Get it fixed in a authorised samsung centre..

I hate when they pre dissemble it p. They don't show that those screw are hard as fuck to unscrew because it is liked they are glued in. Especially the ones near the charging port that won't budge and it bending my screw driver.

Hey my s pen broke in half in its housing and now it's stuck. It hasn't caused any problems, I just can't use it, do you have any tips on how to get it out please?

AYUDA!! MI note 4 estaba bien y de un derrepente se me queda la pantalla congelada y se me apaga el celular o se me reinicia.. Tengo root y recovery con la rom stock... Ya le instale varias Roms ya sea de note 5, si, s7 y aun me sigue la falla :(.. Y ya aveces no quiere prender le tengo que quitar la batería unos minutos y volversela a poner y aveces a la hora de prenderlo me mete al modo downloading :(... Que estará pasando con mi celular ayuda por favor!
Hola amigo, el problema de tu móvil es una falla que tienen y van a tener todas las placas bases de los note 4. Lo que le ha sucedido a tu terminal es por un fallo en la memoria em mc, el problema de esto es que en las placas de los note 4 estas memorias no se pueden sustituir como si se podía hacer en anteriores Samsung, algunos dejan de encender para siempre por muerte súbita de la placa y en otros le sucede lo que a ti. enciende cuando quiere, se congela etc, resumiendo, terminal inservible.

fire Hola intenta buscar algun note 4 con rotura de pantalla , ya que la gente no los arreglan y los venden para piezas ,le sacas la placa base al terminal que compres y listo, una note 4 con pantalla rota los venden entre 80 y 100 .un saludo amigo

iphone or android you will have to go to Ebay and type in the model number. Example LG M-210 replacement digitizer. You will need to replace the digitizer/glass assembly on your phone. I repair these in the Atlanta area in Georgia.
