After watching your video, I tried pushing on the motherboard and heard a click. Then the screen worked again! It had been disconnected from the motherboard haha.

I got one with a banned IMEI/EIN (same carrier as mine) for $100 and took the digitizer and screen from that one and put it on mine. 1+1=1 working phone. :) Thanks again Max, wouldn't have attempted it without you!
Hey Max a good stateside parts retailer/wholesaler is wholesalegadgetparts. They are actually local to my area (tulsa,ok) so its really nice not having to wait for it to ship from china. I can just drive down the street and pick whatever I need up. Right now they are "back ordered" on a lot of stuff because we had snow and the chinese new year but they are still great.
So I just learned the hard way that the N910P frame will NOT work with the N910V body. The general layout of the frame is the same, but the alignment of the slots which snap the frame to the back are totaly different, and the USB board/antenna module in the 910P is different and will not connect to the CDMA network. So if you buy the N910P LCD & frame assembly for your Verizon phone, you would also need to by the N910P back and transfer your USB board from your Verizon frame to the N910P frame. Even then I'm not sure if it'll work because I decided to just sell it back on eBay and keep looking for the N910V version.
awesome tutorial, question: does it matter if the donor/parts phone carrier is different from the phone that is being repaired, using this method? (even if the parts phone is unlocked?)

Max, is there adhesive around the frame from the factory? Just wondering if the heat gun is necessary when disassembling. It didn't seem like the replacement had any. Is the digitizer held to the middle frame with only clips?
Is there any chance the power button not turning on has anything to do with the motherboard, or is it definitely just the button? My original Note 4 would turn on even though the screen was blacked out. Now that I put the motherboard in the Note 4 Digitizer and Frame I purchased online , it won't power on but will charge. I put the motherboard back in my original phone, and it doesn't power on either now. I don't know if the pirwer button just happened to go out on my original phone, or if I've done something to the motherboard or software somehow.

Shouldn't a new adhesive gasket go around the frame before you pop the glass back on? My Note 4 has a screen that is not sitting flush-( I can push the screen down flush, but it wont stay there). , and I ordered a gasket and frame. Before I go and try to fix it, I want to know everything I can! Thanks.

Be careful. Most of the replaceable screens people bring me for the repair is 1080. I can't warn you enough. Always read item specifics even though it says note 4.

I am using this method to change the screen on my note 4 but I get when I turn on the phone, the screen doesn't light up at all. I know the phone is turning on because of the blue light that blinks and also the back button and menu buttons light up at the bottom...I keep thinking it's the lcd connector but I do hear it click into place before I turn it on each time and it appears to be aligned properly..Any suggestions?

if you slide a thin bit of card behind the digitizer conector the conector will click right in snug :D

you have to replace the usb module which is connected to menu and back button. i fixed mine
