This is really practical information, and helped me decide on the 40 over the 44. (I think another criteria to consider is, if you were buying a traditional watch, would you prefer a chunky, Rolex-style watch or one that's quite slim and discrete - I've always gone for the latter). But what I REALLY love about the video is your presentation style - concise, clear and with a great presentation style / editing work. None of the 'yo guys what's up' nonsense like we see on so many videos. Thanks and keep it up.

Very helpful. I went with the 40mm Watch 5 because the 44 and 45mm were too big for me. While I would have liked the bigger batteries, the tradeoff in size was worth it.

Good key point! I don't think that was ever mentioned in this video, but I believe you are correct on battery size. So if your wrist size can handle the 44mm watch, then a longer battery would be an option for you. Also found that the 5 Pro has a built in track back for biking, and hiking, where as the 5 doesn't

That was really helpful although I'm still undecided. I have a 40mm Galaxy Active 2 and I like the size and fit. My wrist size is small but at the very top end of that sizing suggestion. I would follow the advice and go for the 40mm but I wonder if the bigger battery in the 44mm would be a better use case for the active use I have planned.
Guess I need to try one on to really be sure.
On a side note, a little frustrated with the lack of ECG and BP when using my Google Phone. I've hacked the phone and watch to support them and the process is similar so not the end of the world. I've not found anything to compete with The Galaxy watches, maybe the next Pixel watch is worth waiting for.

I'm undecided between the 40mm model or this 44mm one, I should give it to a girl, in the shops everyone recommends the 40mm version because it's more intended for a female audience for smaller wrist issues (usually), even if I I would like to take the 44 mainly because it has a bigger battery (410mha against 285) which, at least I think, could have more autonomy than the 40mm. Correct me if I'm wrong.

@@paolott804 From what I found you would not be able to complete a full day with the 40mm if you plan on replying to messages, exercise and track your sleep. I'm also not sure if it will be possible with the 44mm maybe 1 day and a half. As for the size, my wrist is 16 cm and from the research i did the 44mm might be a bit big for me. It's better to get something that fits perfectly it will be one charge at the end of the day and perhaps early morning when getting ready.

Like he said, it depends on your usage! Turning on power save extends the battery life significantly. Remember, its a watch not a phone. It is an extension of the phone. It has limited capabilities and up to 50hrs. That's probably with limited use. On WATCH ONLY mode, you can get up to 6days. That info is advertised virtually everywhere you look up this watch. It also depends on the model, obviously LTE version requires way more battery. Now that's something he could've mentioned but don't knock him saying he was wrong cuz he wasnt!
