GW5P looks the best, CJ. I purchased the GW5P to replace my GW4 (44mm) as I wore it the most. I am keeping my GW4C (46mm) when it is time to dress up. By the way, great video, brother.

I'm still hooked on that rotating bezel although the new watches are nice but I like the physical satisfaction of that rotating bezel so I'm holding on to my watch 4. I have a feeling that Samsung is going to bring back the rotating bezel and the watch 6!
Watch 5 40mm looks best on your wrist size. Didn't go for Watch 4 as was holding out on Watch 5 series due to larger battery size rumours, but due to the other specs being the same and no smaller size for the 5 Pro/lack of a nice looking, small watch size offering, that can still provide a long battery life whilst using GPS for most of a day for hiking; I'm skipping this generation and waiting to see what the Watch 6 series offers.
my dude i just bought the galaxy watch 5(40mm) today, i upgrade from galaxy watch active 2(44mm) and i think i made the right choice choosing the 40mm for my wrist 16cm something..😅 however the battery still less to compare with my previous galaxy watch.😩 Hopefully for the next upgrade i will buy the largest screen just to get biggest battery 😁🙌 right now gonna use this 40mm watch like usual👍😑✌✌

Going from a charge 5 Fitbit (which is pretty small) to a galaxy watch 5. I measured my wrist, its 7.75" in circumference. even still I'm going with the 40mm face after watching your video. I want something comfortable to sleep with to track sleep. The 44 and 45 just look huge lol.
Received my GWatch5 Pro on Tuesday (23rd), used it Wednesday-Friday (24-26) and by the end of the day got 3%, had heartrate monitor on continuous, sleep monitor, and all notifications on. Recharge was pretty fast got like 30% in 10 minutes. I'm coming from the GW1 46mm and its lighter and smaller, I don't feel as if its on my hands at all. My only gripe is the band I got the extreme sport, it doesn't bend down as much leaving a gap between your wrist but it does shift depending on which side you lean on keeping the actual watch centered on your wrist. I do miss the rotating bezel but the touch one isn't so bad and its so fast to scroll through them. It's still in learning mode so I'm pretty sure there will be longer battery life later on, I wish it came with the stand charging adapter like the GW1 but the magnetic usb one is okay.
I went with the Grey Titanium Watch 5 Pro. Love it, the raised lips makes it easier to navigate from screen to screen. Making a need for a physical rotary Bezel, unnecessary. But the Watch 4 Classic is a Classic.
I find that the sapphire glass causes more of a glare on the screen when light hits it compared to my watch 4 and classic. Meaning the brightness needs to be higher compared to my other watches.
I have ~6.75" wrists, I just pre-ordered the 44mm yesterday, with the white/black ML strap cause I thought it looked cool, and matches my S22 Ultra case. 😅 I'm trading in my original Galaxy Watch, that I never wore because it was too big, too heavy. I wish I saw your video sooner! I think the 40mm looks best on you, the 44mm doesn't seem bad though. The heftier Pro just seems too big for Tweety bird wrist guys like us! I should be getting my 44mm in a couple days - hoping it isn't too wide, as I almost went 40mm. Instantly subscribed, by the way. Thanks for this content I couldn't find elsewhere.
@@talhailyas8374 The 44mm actually fits great! If the face was any bigger I think it would be too big. With the rubber M/L strap it wraps around my wrist nicely. Luckily, the excess strap comes right up to where the other side connects - anything further would put it under the watch face.
@@talhailyas8374 I believe when selecting your wrist strap through Samsung you have the option of choosing a small, or a medium/large. Perhaps also an extra large. The medium/large size fits well with my 6.75" wrist... but any smaller wrist I believe would be better off with the small strap.
The 40 looks good on your wrist. I got the watch 5 pro as I have an 7.5 inch wrist. I’ve had I for 2 days now. I’m coming from the galaxy watch 4 classic and I am really missing the rotation bezel. I have the titanium grey and there are light scratches after 1 day on it. I’m giving myself a week before I made a final decision on keeping it or not.
@@amanrasul9890 it's been perfect. Holding up well. I only have 1 small blemish on the titanium ring around the crystal. It's easy to use. It still feels speedy. The band is meh... But I have a small wrist. I think a larger wrist might fit the watch better. That said I still really like it. Looks like it will last 8-10 years..lol. by then the $500 will be well worth it.

That Nip blue is poppin! I might have to get a watch 5 just for that color lol I like the way the 44 mm looks on you. My wrist is also small like yours and I like the 44mm on myself as opposed to the 40mm, but I've always loved big watches so I may be a lil biased 🤷🏾♀️
I got a free graphite Galaxy Watch 5 using the awesome credit that Samsung was giving on their site when ordering the Flip 4. I ordered the 40mm one, but really should've got the 44mm for my 8 inch wrist. I might be returning my Flip, which means returning the watch too, so I'm not using it yet because I might get attached to it. :) I'm currently using my fairly new Ticwatch Pro 3, which is really awesome.
🤔 I might go ahead and try the 40mm but I still hate they got rid of the bezel😑. I've had the GW1 since 2019 so almost going on 3 years now. I still get lots of compliments on it but I really want to try out the newer Wear OS. Tizen is cool but the app support is not what it should be
40mm looks best on you. I have the GW4 - no reason to trade-in. Battery is more than sufficient. Samsung do need to work on the auto-brightness of the watches. Very bright indoors, barely visible outside (on AOD mode).
The 44,45mm looks best on you. At first I was reluctant to get the watch 5 until I saw them in person and decided to get the 44mm in blue and I went on Amazon and bought the protective case with glass face protector.
Watch 5 pro feels good overall and im very satisfied. I'm definitely glad i could trade in my active 2 for same as classic. So i can use both if possible and next year trade it in for Galaxy watch 6 "ultra" and continue that trade-in cycle for better iterations
Sadly, for ppl with small wrists (up to 6") the best choice (look-wise) is 40mm. BUT its battery life makes this variant barely usable, one needs to charge it every 24h, or if you want to track some activities even more frequently. So it became common wearing huge watches and that's fine. I think the best choice in such a case is a regular size casual look watch (like GW4 Classic 42mm) and GW5 Pro for outdoor activities.
Before even watching your video you posed the question which looks best on you. My immediate thought is it depends on what you're wearing! You have to match your watch color to what would match most of your wardrobe if you ask me!
I'd like to believe a big watch on a small wrist looks much better than a small watch on a big wrist. I have fairly dainty hands and wrists and even I go for the 44mm variant each time. Never had anyone say something so that's my go-to.
I ordered the Watch 5 44 MM. I'm not really crazy about the bulkiness of the Pro and I feel the 40 mm could have been perfect for me. But I choose the 44 mm and I think it will be perfect for me. As for color I chose the Graphite.
This is a no go for the watch this year. I've always been a big fan of Samsung watches. This is a huge step back for them. I don't think anyone can truly say that this year watch loo better than any watch Samsung has made in the pass 3 years. Love your videos!!! Are you going to go live on here anytime soon??
Its an upgrade in every way besides the bezel, better health tracking, better screen, way more durable, and crazy increase in battery especially in the 5 pro

I'm coming from the Galaxy Watch 42mm, and probably wouldn't have even considered upgrading it since my watch has been working perfectly fine...but I'm looking to upgrade to a LTE watch. So looking at the specs for the GW 42mm and your video, it appears my current GW 42 will be about the same size as the GW5 44mm. Like everyone else, I'm going to miss that bezel. I just purchased the Galaxy S23+ (upgrading from the S20+), so I'm sure the new watch will pair nicely with it. Still curious about the Flip 4 (or upcoming Flip 5). BTW...the 44mm or even the pro looks great on your wrist.
5 pro looked the best. I wish it had some of the color options of the regular watch 5. Hey CJ QUESTION!!! Both the watch 4 classic and watch 5 pro are listed with 1.36 inch screens. Does the watch 5 pro seem to have a smaller screen becasue of the dead pixels (unused boarder) with the non physical bezel? I could not figure it out.
@ 2:30, you should tell use what your wrist size is in millimeters so that we can compare it to our own wrist size and know if we have a bigger or smaller wrist than you have. I have a 180mm wrist size. I'm thinking the 44mm would be best for me.

I liked the 1st one you tried and the black looks amazing.. but great tip for people CJ the right size wrist strap is crucial for the fit.. I have the larger Apple SE I’m like you I prefer the larger watch face.. I love how the Samsung watches have kept a traditional round face, they look classy.. Apple watches ⌚️ went for a more futuristic look.. but I don’t think they look as nice… Samsung looks nicer in my opinion.

The trade in deal ends today. I think I'm going with the Pro5. Bought a Watch 3 off Ebay for 40, which can be traded in for 190 credit. But that 44M is hard to say no to as well..will miss that Bezel, but haven't upgraded since the Galaxy Watch. Worst case, I can sell the pro and maybe grab GW4, on the low if the bezel is too much to miss.. I appreciate the video
It was hard for me as well. I traded in my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for the Watch 5 Pro. And the 5 Pro is better and has Double the Battery Life. Need the Rotating Bezel or the 5 Pro with raised lip to help keep the finger lined up to rub around the screen which seems faster. Well Worth it and it makes the rotating Bezel unnecessary now. In my opinion.
To put things in perspective: Let's compare the Galaxy watch 4 to the Galaxy watch 5 pro. The Galaxy watch 4 has the identical inner workings as the $450 pro version. Same CPU, ram and storage. 😁 Yea, watch 5 pro has a temperature sensor... but Let's be honest..that will never see the light of day just like the infamous blood pressure that Samaung touts LOL😁 Watch 5 pro battery life is better but watch 4 is more sleeker, slimmer. The pro 5 is bulkier and bigger. 😁 The back of the watch 5 pro is not titanium and the whole point to it is supposed to make you skin feel softer. 😁 And when you add one of those $20 plus watch cases it completely covers up the titanium so what's the point? Just to walk around and say "Hey I got titanium under my watch case and I'm proud" ? 😁 Oh and you argue that saphire glass is much more scratch resistant and stronger? Saphire glass is is much more susceptible to impacts due to its brittleness, and can shatter just dropping from a measly height of 3 feet. 😁 Sapphire screens are bad for outdoor viewing as it's more reflective than glass, which means it'll be difficult to see the screen in sunny or bright conditions and a saphire screen will reflect almost twice as much light as ordinary glass. 😁 But Samsung's marketing department convinced those to upgrade every year. It's pure genius. Now you're educated. You're welcome.
Not to spam your comments, well I guess I am now, the black watch should be your last option for most people in my opinion. Grey, Rosegold, Pink, or any other color should be better than just plain black! Trust me, you'll thank me later! :)

I picked the blue watch 44mm even as a woman because I think it's a nice color and like a little bit bigger screen to interact with.
I couldn't resist the beautiful blue and ended up getting 44mm. It has a much better fit than my old one
The tougher sapphire glass is more reflective that the glass on the watch 4. In direct light it makes the screen dimmer

I got a free graphite Galaxy Watch 5 using the awesome credit that Samsung was giving on their site when ordering the Flip 4. I ordered the 40mm one, but really should've got the 44mm for my 8 inch wrist. I might be returning my Flip, which means returning the watch too, so I'm not using it yet because I might get attached to it. :) I'm currently using my fairly new Ticwatch Pro 3, which is really awesome.

🤔 I might go ahead and try the 40mm but I still hate they got rid of the bezel😑. I've had the GW1 since 2019 so almost going on 3 years now. I still get lots of compliments on it but I really want to try out the newer Wear OS. Tizen is cool but the app support is not what it should be

40mm looks best on you. I have the GW4 - no reason to trade-in. Battery is more than sufficient. Samsung do need to work on the auto-brightness of the watches. Very bright indoors, barely visible outside (on AOD mode).

The 44,45mm looks best on you. At first I was reluctant to get the watch 5 until I saw them in person and decided to get the 44mm in blue and I went on Amazon and bought the protective case with glass face protector.

Watch 5 pro feels good overall and im very satisfied. I'm definitely glad i could trade in my active 2 for same as classic. So i can use both if possible and next year trade it in for Galaxy watch 6 "ultra" and continue that trade-in cycle for better iterations

Sadly, for ppl with small wrists (up to 6") the best choice (look-wise) is 40mm. BUT its battery life makes this variant barely usable, one needs to charge it every 24h, or if you want to track some activities even more frequently. So it became common wearing huge watches and that's fine. I think the best choice in such a case is a regular size casual look watch (like GW4 Classic 42mm) and GW5 Pro for outdoor activities.
Before even watching your video you posed the question which looks best on you. My immediate thought is it depends on what you're wearing! You have to match your watch color to what would match most of your wardrobe if you ask me!

I'd like to believe a big watch on a small wrist looks much better than a small watch on a big wrist. I have fairly dainty hands and wrists and even I go for the 44mm variant each time. Never had anyone say something so that's my go-to.
I ordered the Watch 5 44 MM. I'm not really crazy about the bulkiness of the Pro and I feel the 40 mm could have been perfect for me. But I choose the 44 mm and I think it will be perfect for me. As for color I chose the Graphite.

This is a no go for the watch this year. I've always been a big fan of Samsung watches. This is a huge step back for them. Its an upgrade in every way besides the bezel, better health tracking, better screen, way more durable, and crazy increase in battery especially in the 5 pro

I'm coming from the Galaxy Watch 42mm, and probably wouldn't have even considered upgrading it since my watch has been working perfectly fine...but I'm looking to upgrade to a LTE watch. So looking at the specs for the GW 42mm and your video, it appears my current GW 42 will be about the same size as the GW5 44mm. Like everyone else, I'm going to miss that bezel. I just purchased the Galaxy S23+ (upgrading from the S20+), so I'm sure the new watch will pair nicely with it. Still curious about the Flip 4 (or upcoming Flip 5).
BTW...the 44mm or even the pro looks great on your wrist.

5 pro looked the best. I wish it had some of the color options of the regular watch 5. Hey CJ QUESTION!!! Both the watch 4 classic and watch 5 pro are listed with 1.36 inch screens. Does the watch 5 pro seem to have a smaller screen becasue of the dead pixels (unused boarder) with the non physical bezel? I could not figure it out.
@ 2:30, you should tell use what your wrist size is in millimeters so that we can compare it to our own wrist size and know if we have a bigger or smaller wrist than you have. I have a 180mm wrist size. I'm thinking the 44mm would be best for me.

To be honest, being skinny and having the same wrist size as you i'd go for the 40mm. The 44 looks too loose.

I love how the Samsung watches have kept a traditional round face, they look classy.. Apple watches ⌚️ went for a more futuristic look.. but I don’t think they look as nice… Samsung looks nicer in my opinion.

The trade in deal ends today. I think I'm going with the Pro5. Bought a Watch 3 off Ebay for 40, which can be traded in for 190 credit. But that 44M is hard to say no to as well..will miss that Bezel, but haven't upgraded since the Galaxy Watch. Worst case, I can sell the pro and maybe grab GW4, on the low if the bezel is too much to miss.. I appreciate the video

It was hard for me as well. I traded in my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for the Watch 5 Pro. And the 5 Pro is better and has Double the Battery Life. Need the Rotating Bezel or the 5 Pro with raised lip to help keep the finger lined up to rub around the screen which seems faster. Well Worth it and it makes the rotating Bezel unnecessary now. In my opinion.

Watch 5 pro battery life is better but watch 4 is more sleeker, slimmer. The pro 5 is bulkier and bigger. 😁
The back of the watch 5 pro is not titanium and the whole point to it is supposed to make you skin feel softer. 😁
And when you add one of those $20 plus watch cases it completely covers up the titanium so what's the point? Just to walk around and say "Hey I got titanium under my watch case and I'm proud" ? 😁
Oh and you argue that saphire glass is much more scratch resistant and stronger?
Saphire glass is is much more susceptible to impacts due to its brittleness, and can shatter just dropping from a measly height of 3 feet. 😁
Sapphire screens are bad for outdoor viewing as it's more reflective than glass, which means it'll be difficult to see the screen in sunny or bright conditions and a saphire screen will reflect almost twice as much light as ordinary glass. 😁
But Samsung's marketing department convinced those to upgrade every year. It's pure genius.
