I covered an early build of Victory Heat Rally a couple of years ago, but the new build is much improved. I particularly love the new soundtrack, the addition of point-to-point rally style races and the ability to wreck cars that you lap. This video features four races. I've condensed a couple of races down to two laps to save time.
@@AlphaBetaGameryea I still remember you covering the Alpha build back in March 2020 around the time you did your Juice World and Night of the Consumers playthroughs. Those 3 videos introduced me to your page, I can't believe it's been 3 years.

I love how even though it's in 3d, they've leaned hard into the transformation 2d style of outrun in places to help with the sense of speed and spectacle.
thank u for this video, downloading the demo and see if i wishlist it, again, love a channel that does videos like this so i know things i might like and enjoy.
I remember a friend showed me this game years ago since he knows how much I love Outrun. Figured it was forgotten and bought Slipstream to hold me over. Guess it may see release one day after all...
I tried an early demo of this game a couple of years ago and loved it, and this new version looks even better. Really looking forward to it getting a full release.
This looks better than any racing game Sega had released in the dying days of their arcade racers. You could go back to this in a few years and it would still look good.
Who would have thought that a game with 2D assets and a cartoony aesthetic would better understand the catharsis of speed that racing game players want. This looks reeaaally fun. 🔥
Holy shit. The static visuals didn't grab me at first, but the graphical effects (movements of the car) were done so well they instantly grew on me. The gameplay looks phenomenal, of course. I can't wait to buy the full thing! Also, the OST sounds like a BANGER! The tune at 5:30 immediately reminded me of sanodg and old Ridge Racer tracks. Random but, as a kid I grew up with this niche game on the GBA called Gadget Racers. These graphics and toon-like art style really bring me back to those days haha!
Yeah this game seems like it takes a ton of inspiration from gadget racers and choroQ, which were both based around those little penny-racer collectible toy cars
Spacey reminds me at Mario Kart 64, where you could slide until no tomorrow... lol I beat friends back then in 4 player, they where so mad at me when I overtook the last one of em after being one round ahead. Great times.
I tried the demo this game its awesome, imo it just needs some help for beginners (like some easier maps or a slower mode) but the rest its perfect, beautiful
Cars need more frames of animation. Tire/road smoke needs alpha transparency to maybe 50 to 60% opacity to help see the track and cars better. Looks fun! 8)
Looks great and fun but I wish someone would do a chill Outrun inspired game, kinda like Race the Sun mixed with Outrun, cruising with comfy pixel art and chiptune.

Did the game officially come out yet?
No, not yet. It seems pretty polished now though, so hopefully in 2024.

@AlphaBetaGamer Oh alright, well here's hopen for "2024 release." 🙏
I want to shake a hand to creators of this gem

Man, this is so stylish and it looks fun as hell
Sold on the design and music. Interesting. Concrete Jungle track looks like a simplified version of Fuji Raceway.
This has been on my steam wishlist for so long now, please release it already!!!
2:41
That caught me off guard so bad. I didn't think this game would actually let you ram cars into the sunset like Team Rocket.
Haha, yeah I love that!
Another one at 4:30 😂
To unite all racers under one federation, to save the car body from devastation...!
I laughed way harder than I should at that.
A whole new meaning to "final lap"
I have played all the demos to death, this game is soooo good.
Loving how it's shaping up, the snow levels look awesome.
the pixel art sprites in the 3d world go together way better than they have any right to. Love the aesthetic!
Why would they not? :) it’s mostly 2D sprites with a bit of 3D for the road. Check power drift.

Nice work, I love the ChoroQ aesthetics!
I might be too old to say this but I like the cartoonish art style.
Art style reminds me of gadget racers on ps2. Loved that game as a kid.
This is like a holy union between Outrun and Power Drift.
Great discovery I hope finding arcades with speed wheel capable just for fun or race simulators
Such a cute style. Wishlisted.
The new sega arcade game looks lit
There is something very pleasant about how this game sounds...
I love how even though it's in 3d, they've leaned hard into the transformation 2d style of outrun in places to help with the sense of speed and spectacle.
Love the look, nostalgic af for me playing the lamborghini games on snes
This is giving me Slipstream vibes but with a softer pixel aesthetic.
Now all we need is the „Samir” audio-pack and we have a goldmine in our hands!
Goddamn, this is mega polished
All of the games I have seen on this channel so far are so awesome and have flavor that has been sorely missing from games for quite a long time.
I love the style in this game

Amaizing concept and esthetics, add how camera tilts it's angle. This game puts a smile on my face!
Fun and addictive and just the right amount of difficulty, makes you want to get better and better.
Who would have thought that a game with 2D assets and a cartoony aesthetic would better understand the catharsis of speed that racing game players want. This looks reeaaally fun. 🔥
This looks a lot of fun
Car proportions are straight out of a Choro-Q game.
Love the visuals

Everything about this is incredibly charming!
Dang it looks CLEAN.
Position, lap, Lana the anagram of YOU KNOW WHAT - this game is one big innuendo without even trying.
Haha, grab your gearstick and go full throttle!
If you got the (bearing) balls to bear the pressure!
But it's okay to come second once in a while.
the colors, the animations and the music are pure nostalgia.
This channel tells me what to buy in that bottomless swamp that is Steam.
Medium Left.
Medium Left!
MEDIUM LEEEFT!!!
LISTEN TO MY CALLS!!!
SAMIR, YOU ARE BREAKING THE CAR!
This game has come such a long way from its original inception. Looking forward to its actual release.
Cool! Reminds me of the Choro-Q games in a way.
Played the demo months ago and been daydreaming with the release of it, early access or not. Great to know it's back on the board.
I think the major inspiration was the arcade game called Power Drift, especially when looking at older builds with sprite based bridges
Earlier builds were like that back then, but then they evolved significantly!
This brings back memories of Road Blasters
I can't believe I'm hearing the sega rally voice cues on this game 😆
As someone who is terrible at racing games, the turn warnings on the first track would be so useful in pretty much all of them.
That BGM is 👌
Yeah, I love the music goes hard int his one!
Spacey reminds me at Mario Kart 64, where you could slide until no tomorrow... lol I beat friends back then in 4 player, they where so mad at me when I overtook the last one of em after being one round ahead. Great times.
So many years following this.. really hope it gets released. It’s great to hear about updates. I had lost hope on it, just like with Eitr.
😍 the grippy tiers I have always dreamed of 😍
Played demo a while back, glad they have options to disable camera tilt
In the new demo you can also increase the tilt, shake and shift to ludicrous levels!
This looks like fun.
This game looks amazingly fun!
the engine sound reminds me of one from Road Trip on the PS2
Looks like fun. Gonna pick this up for the Steamdeck.
5:58 Looks like you finally caught Clyde Mydia.
Closest we will get to Drift Stage 🥲
This is better then any triple A game.
It looks like Choro Q and Outrun had a baby.
Super stylish! Looks amazing!
The sound design is fantastic!
I hope somebody finishes Drift Stage one day
It's looking great!
I wish this game is fully release for next year...
You had me at the first screenshot. Needs a crazy taxi-esque voice for the turns though
Just cute. 😍
Wishlisted on Steam.❤
I hope the finished game can also hit on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch. ❤
This is awesome!
amazing work
SEGA! Power Drift! ❤🎉
this looks like so much fun, hope its coming to the Switch or PS5
Switch confirmed by the developer, but I wouldn't mind seeing it on PS5, too.
Someone looked at the iconic powerslide from Akira and decided to make a game out of that!
ross scott (of freeman's mind fame) did a compilation of outrun clones for his game dungeon show, strong recommend
the cars remembers the choro q, very nice
I tried the demo this game its awesome, imo it just needs some help for beginners (like some easier maps or a slower mode) but the rest its perfect, beautiful
The music alongside this gives all the perfect vibes.
Retro artstyle, fast paced gameplay, what's not to like?
4:30 You are killing it on the track, like no for real, i don't think that guy survived that crash
Is the guys telling you direction also the same guy from way back in SEGA RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP?!
It's like a new NFS installment (considering what the series has been turned into), only better.
simplitly amazing 2:39
I think the Cars need a few more animation frames for Turning even Mario kart had more back in the day.
oh i love this but i wish there was wheel support! i hope they add it someday
looks great! release should be only on arcade machines! :)
Outrun? Sega Rally? I think we should also include Power Drift tho', the camera movement got me recall that joint.
Cars need more frames of animation. Tire/road smoke needs alpha transparency to maybe 50 to 60% opacity to help see the track and cars better. Looks fun! 8)
Finally a new update after so long! I'm disappointed that there's no new cars though.
Yeah, there's just the one car in the demo. But the full game will have 12 characters, 12 cars and cusomization (like tires and stuff). :)
@@AlphaBetaGamer I figured!
Are these the same tracks in Horizon Chase… or am I tripping.
H-he's fast!
It actually reminds me of Penny Racers haha.
The cars are very Choro-Q.
This game have some influence/inspiration from the tomy choro-q toy car models..
The turning drag is like Mario Kart 64 with extra boost
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
"Oh, Deer!" for the PSVita.
Hope we see it on psn 😊
Looks great and fun but I wish someone would do a chill Outrun inspired game, kinda like Race the Sun mixed with Outrun, cruising with comfy pixel art and chiptune.
Imagine if this game has customization for cars?
Looks fun! Are you playing with a controller or keyboard?
Yeah it's a ton of fun! I'm playing with a controller. I think you can use a keyboard too though.
I would be more satisfied if I could choose to change 3D or 2D models in the options menu, of course you can do that.
