Testing and calibration is always exiting for me. I understand that you need to make sure to get the right measurement if you make high quality knifes that you do.

Wow, I am a learned material tester (specialized on steel) and the Rockwell testers we had in our company were much more inaccurate than this tester.
Testing the same calibration plates, we often had deviations of like +/- 0,5 HRc and if a customer wanted us to have material let's say between 55 and 56 Rockwell our quality department boss was getting a heart attack every time, because our machines were not that accurate to make sure that the material was in such a small tolerance.
I guess the testing machines have become much better over time, but in the quality laboratory we were always testing with Vickers and used charts to convert that value into Rockwell, because it was much more acccurate than our Rockwell testing machine.
(We had one of those testers where you manually have to put pressure, before the machine started the main measuring.

HRC testers sure have advanced, yes! I also got a Vickers tester, I think I got a video up on it here as well.

Why did you choose zwear for your Scandinaviann knife instead of 65hrc 4v or MagnaCut? What's your thout on magnacut?

I prefer Z-Wear over both because better edge stability. Also, if you notice, this knife was made before Magnacut was even a thing. Yet I would still use Z-Wear over 4V and Maganacut because afformentioned superior edge stability of Z-Wear. Also, 65HRC 4V or Magnacut is too high for a hard use blade. If 65HRC for harder use is desired, I recommend S390 Microclean. Has some very interesting properties. Yet still, 65HRC is walking on the edge for anything outdoor related; chipping instead of rolling on stone contact etc.
