One of the biggest missed opportunities was how the sequel was about the internet and not modern gaming. What if Sugar Rush became a online console game like Mario Kart, while Ralph was still stuck in his 80s game? They could have explored how retro arcade games struggle to remain relevant in modern times.
That would cause people to think and Disney doesn't want that.
We don't always get what we want, unfortunately.

Considering her infamous "apology" video that broke the Internet by storm, that scene makes it even funnier in hindsight. She had it coming.

I despise Ralph break the Internet with a passion because what it did to everyone characters (especially Ralphs) and breaking The main rule of the last movie, the going turbo thing (which just... don't bring up in the second movie even tho its the main thing for the first movie plot) I just treat it the same way Pacific rim fans treat uprising, it's doesn't actually exist and is actually just a bad fan film, a hypothetical movie that shows what would happen if he frist movie was bad

Miranda Sings, of all people, made a cameo in _Wreck It Ralph 2_ only to have her Internet connection wrecked by Ralph is more hilarious in hindsight, considering her broken reputation now. Ralph may never got a medal he deserves, but what he did shows he is truly the hero we need.

I’ll always find it bizarre that Ralph Breaks the Internet acknowledges the Dark Web. Like that’s a part of the Internet used to hire assassins and this movie interpreted it as just some shady back alley.

The only issues I have with the wreck it Ralph sequel are: we don’t get enough Fix it Felix and his wife, Vanellope is the most ungrateful and unlikable character in the movie and it breaks its own rule about how going turbo is the worst thing you can do because it will shut down your game but that gets thrown out the window in the ending of the sequel!
when you think about it vanellope time in slaughter race is gonna be pretty short lived cause eventually someone playing the game is gonna reconizge her from sugar rush which will probably lead to the sugar rush developers sueing slaughter race which probably lead to either the game shutting down or vanellope being removed from the game.

Wreck it Ralph 2 is basically a bad Disney Direct-to-DVD sequel, just with an animation budget & a theatrical release.
And critics likes it more than those Disney straight to DVD sequels which might be a bad thing

I think it's something to do with the fact that Paramount was still making a Sonic movie at that time, so Disney couldn't give more screen time to Sonic (the same reason why Mario isn't even referenced in the movie, because Universal and Illumination were still making the Mario movie).

I remembered Hoodwinked 2 was planned for 2010 but delayed to 2011
But funny enough Burger King released Toys before the movie got released and That was like WHAT THE FUDGE!?!
That's also happening right now with Captain America: Brave New World releasing toys in McDonald's (they even possibly spoiled Red Hulk being in the film) despite the movie coming out next year. This is because a lot of money is invested into marketing and McDonald's had a contract obligation to release these toys around this time regardless of what happens with the movie being delayed.

Ralph Breaks The Internet was my Pacific Rim Uprising. My 10 year old self hated it so much, especially since Wreck It Ralph is one of my all time favourite movies.
That name drop of "You've been Hoodwinked Too" at 5:34 made me loose all of my faith in humanity.
Fun fact: The Ralph breaks the internet movie makes a reference to the hot aunt Cass memes in an add that is shown to Ralph called "Sassy housewives wanna meet you".

When i went to go see the ralph breaks the internet movie I didnt hate the movie, but I hated the experience because near the middle of the movie the screen paused then a message showed up announcing a 15 min break then the light turned on and all the kids in the theater started running around and screaming. Alvin 4 came out when I was in the prime of my Chipmunks phase and I saw it in theaters and literally don't remember a single thing that happened in it because even then I thought it sucked. I saw it like once after that on a DVD
