I just bought a Taotao a few months ago and also trying get the thing going faster, have been doing everything except for the big boar kit yet, working my last thing I'm doing are the roller weights and after that if it still doesn't pick up the speed I'm doing the big boar kit
Roller weights will make it faster. It will spin faster and yes if you get a bore kit you'll definitely will see a difference. My old motor before made the bike go 12 to 17mph. When I installed the 100cc it goes 45plus mph. Of added roller weights and new exhaust. This bike will at least pick up 50plus.

For like 50 bucks between both the big bore kit and a header I've decided to do it, but I've been looking at the glixal one because I'm currently running a glixal cdi on mine
I ended up having mine professionally done, I got intimated with the work, but one thing for I do know is the cdi boxes I got are ac not dc so I'm not sure if maybe is causing it?

50cc motor mounts are normally on the bottom . Roketa Super Hornet 150cc engine motor mounts are some how design on the bottom . So if you have the funs you could buy this engine partsroketa.com/product/mc-06-150-eg-01-engine-roma-150-mc-06-150cc/ Just Engine swap . Might have to a mount for your rear shock but that's easy to do . If you do get the engine I'd buy a Big Bore Kit and get an Oil cooler cause Big bore kits do heat up and thin out your oil . Should be easy peasy
When you put the Big Bore kit at Dundas is he kidding it did they did you get the whole cat I just have to get some kids come half and some come with the full kid there's also I came in was called but I called her or computer modulator which is ghosting on your main are the main unit which is also a governor restriction speed eat if you do get your motor souped up the one on your main screen where your speed thermometer is still has its own little survey serve or whatever it is that cause the bike not to go to certain speed which is an other words is a computer governor I don't know what

So an update i had a big bore kit installed and it still only tops out between 35-40
Check, maybe your valves and cam. Your exhaust flow. Also gas makes a different
