What’s up friends and family I’m back with another video to share with you guys don’t forget I’m going a 500 subscriber giveaway so like this vid and sub Taotao link: www.wmsbrighto...
It's not a Gy6 clone. It's an actual Gy6. I've been trying to find one, I already have a brand new 150cc Gy6 engine in box plus brand new big bore kit and I want to put on a 50cc bike like this. MAD FAST
It only weighs 175 pounds lol. For every 1hp it can move 550 pounds 1 foot in 1 second so realistically if he weighed 175 pounds he can get up to 43mph
This is a nice bike I have never rode a motorcycle before. Dealing with aggressive drivers suck. Unfortunately people get killed on the highway that drive motorcycles all the time. But they seem fun
You can buy a hawk 250 or tbr7 for roughly the same price. That bike is better than not having one though. You get a few buddy's on slow bikes you can have alot of fun
Had mine for 250 miles, decided to put a big bore kit on it and ended up having to rebuild the entire engine (my own fault). Great bike have it in red.
TBH I'd rather stick to my atm50.. it's ugly but at least that doesn't try to be something it isn't lol.. I do prefer the rear shock setup on this one though I just feel like I'd be way more likely to get pulled over on this for cops thinking it's a motorcycle.. also mopeds have pedals. This is a scooter. What "150cc" kit are you getting? The qmb139 won't take larger than true 90 without case mods. I wouldn't wanna go bigger anyway without other mods like new crankshaft. You also shouldn't expect much of a speed boost from a kit.. power and acceleration yes but you'll need to mod the trans for extra speed.
What are you talking about I have a 144cc naraku kit in my tao Tao racer stock rollers, jetted carb .92, full BB intake kit, a10 cam, steel crank, I hit 60 easy that shit went 30 when I got it 😂
@@Linkflame99 largest I could find when I was fucking with these was the 90 I mentioned.. I also never saw any significant speed gains without swapping the rollers and variator. XXX rpm is still XXX rpm regardless of the torque behind it. I'm not trying to argue with you, just Sharing my experience. Just curious, what's your piston diameter? There's a couple different ways to measure displacement.. the 72cc kits I used were 47mm, up from 39mm stock. I also had one that came with a 44mm or 63cc setup. The largest Im seeing are 52-53mm. Im not gonna do the math right now but I remember the 90cc kits being right around that. Your jetting also feels more inline with that size. I typically went with something in the low 90s for my builds, preferring them to be a little rich for heat reasons.. I can see getting extra speed out of a kit alone if the extra power is letting you reach higher rpms.. IE, With light enough rollers, it's possible that the variator was "upshifting" too soon.
Yo click on my picture I got the blue one I luv this bike yes it's mad slow but it's fun to ride I like driving at night cause it's hard to see that little back tire😍😍😍
That was hilarious you said it doesn't pick up that much and it's really weird... these bikes are like for complete starters it's like a training model because something like a 500 real sports bike I wonder how can I make it go faster without changing engine also it's a pain in the ass with that clutch a lot of people got the Need for Speed but don't have time for that I'd rather just have something fast and easy like an automatic tt 50 racer scooters is where it's at
Leonard Jones just put a different exhaust on it or a muffler the racer isn’t that loud in the first place so if your worried about neighbors being pricks there shouldn’t be anything to worry about
$1000 can get you a ninja 250. $1000-1500 can get you a rebel 250. There is absolutely no point in getting one of these. Why pay more for a scooter that's disguised as a motorcycle? Maybe I'm just missing something.
@@zlSuiSLiD3lz actually it's not, it's a scooter. A moped has pedals. I'm not stupid. Just wondering why someone thinks, "oh wow gonna buy a 50cc scooter that's shaped like a motorcycle for more money than I can get an actual motorcycle for". Unless you're just getting out of prison or have a DUI and can't have a license.
Two reasons: 1. You get a known problem set. And an old cheap bike like that, will almost def. come with issues. If not, it will soon. 2. New Chinese scooters & motorcycles usually give no trouble for years, if you know how to maintain them. The most recent scoot I purchased, was a 150cc. It has almost 4k miles on it. Haven't had one issue. Actually, it had one issue. Wouldn't start upon arrival. I adjusted the gap on the spark plug and it started & ran perfectly. But is that really an issue? Nope. Not for anyone with some level of mechanical skills.
Kris Thor I know I’m having the same problem you might want to check ur spark plug just to see if it’s working & see if ur timing is right , that’s what I’m doing right now & it’s still not working but if you can’t make it work then take it to a shop cause that’s what I’m doing
Joey Vlogs took it to the shop Saturday I put new spark plug in still no spark haven't checked the timing. I think it maybe the wiring somehow like a bad connection.
Kris Thor : simple test , check stator coil . When changing ignition coil / spark plug / CDI always check what gives it spark ( stator coil ) . Take it to a mech , something simple can get complicated if you dont know what you're doing.....
Tonedef St. James I just bought my grandson a used one for $400. I rode it and loved. It’s not for racing. Just a cool little moped to ride. These assholes on here leaving motorcycle comments are just stupid. It’s a MOPED!!!

With that back tire this bike kind of reminds me of Hank Hills ass
😂
Swear it look so dumb lol can you upgrade the wheels on these ?
Is the engine just a Gy6 clone? If so that’s awesome cause you can go from 50cc to 150cc or even 212cc for less than $150

@@hotrefuel damn bro that's from a year ago nigga
be careful doing a big bore kit on a 50cc engine. that puts stupid amounts of strees on the crank and will blow it out eventually
That is a nice bike
Cycle Cruza approves of this
Some states you don't need license or registration to drive a moped
Philadelphia you dont
I don't think you do in new york either
Gy6 moped engine yep
Put the big bore in new exhaust and air filter it will wake it up a whole hell of a lot man

How was the install? Simple or pain lol I have one and want to upgrade my engine
@@Kloud5280 not bad, just go slow and double check everything. It sounds trivial, but make sure you have all your bolts tight (not overtight tho)
Um going to put a 80cc on mine today...
I have one and it’s not a bad bike it’s good for beginners
Does this have gears or is it automatic?
Auto

Leonard Jones just put a different exhaust on it or a muffler the racer isn’t that loud in the first place so if your worried about neighbors being pricks there shouldn’t be anything to worry about
Loud pipes save lives, but on a serious note change the exhaust, get a baffle system, get some exhaust wraps, and an airbox for your carbureter
Love your vids on these bikes lookin to get one soon whats gas price look like
Can you expand the back of the tire on your Tata racer Like the same height and length of the front tire?
im pretty sure its a CVT drive system, so I wouldn't recommend it. Im sure you could but its less of a hassle if you just leave it be
The engine sounds rough......slow start it 4 10min....piston & ring smooth out for max top speed
that rear tyre is too small though

Where did you get the decals?!
Where can I buy one my guy
Hey I have a way to leave it stock and get it to go 70 percent faster, pipe and carb change and scrap the air filter, .092 “ Jet
What's ur height?
I put lighter roller weight pod air filter and slightly larger jets has good pick up
Could you put links or tell where you got the mods
What jets?
I may have missed it. But what’s the mpg?
most of these 50cc 4 stroke bikes will range 80-100+ mpg, 2 strokes are a different story
Dope but don’t get one?
Did you get insurance if so though who thanks

in some states its a moped in others its a "motor driven cycle"
