Thank you for playing Duck N Roll!
In the release version, you can explore various maps and encounter different animals in World Tour mode.
New playable characters are also waiting for you.
Coming soon! Thank you!
Man builds almost entirely frontloaded burst and then is surprised when the boss is much harder than the hallway fights.
I mean for what it’s worth we still obliterated all of the other boss fights lol
@@OlexaYTand maybe if you still had a set of ten (and maybe healing) you could have made it with an extra crit or two
I never really understand why game devs don’t just leave their demos up.
Cause they don't get paid for the demo, and they need to buy food.
It depends on the demo.
If it's close to the full game's quality, then it could lead to some people having less of an incentive to buy the full game.
Or the demo may be buggy, and you don't really go fixing demos.
Or the demo may be just outdated - just doesn't represent the full game anymore.
Sometimes the demo no longer represents the full game, that’s one reason why
Agree with all of these except the first. A good demo is 100% beneficial to getting a sale later. The trick is having a good demo lol
@@PizzaMineKingthey have proven over and over that having a permanent demo version of a game available for people MASSIVELY boosts sales and fan interaction.
Duck-builder? Say less, I’m sold.
Just gotta say it, the Olexa intro theme is a true banger.
I really love the art
I found a demo of a deckbuilding roguelike you might enjoy, a hidden gem (7 reviews, all positive): Prescience. I like its artstyle and the replayability. Maybe something for your backlog of games?
It is on my backlog!
another one that's pretty hidden but imo rally good is Endgame of Devil (魔王终局)
it's basically luck be a landlord with combat
We’ve played a lot of endgame of devil on my channel. It’s an excellent game
Randomly nitpicking, but the die at the home screen doesn't have a valid positioning of the numbers. Opposite sides should add up to seven, so why are the three and four next two each other.
Anyway, loved the video! Keep up the good work man!
It's an upgraded die
Did Olexa ever encounter an upgrade that changes the numbion the dice? It seems like all of them (including glass and thorn) were Normal Dice with 1-6 except Gold Dice which were also 1-6.
I expected something like Even Dice or a die with two 6 instead of a 1, but didn't see that in this video. Maybe later game content?
Wishlist + 1 Ty for the great showcase!
Only found this channel about a week ago and has instantly become my favourite channel
I'm a massive indie wh0re and love all the quirky games he plays. Showcases all the stuff I might never have seen or heard of and I truly appreciate that
Who needs BLOPS6 when we've got ducks killing foxes with dice? THIS is the kind of stuff I can sink my teeth into
NICE!
Didn't expect to see you here
@@ClarkSilent yooo, CLARK!
@@Negreb25 Hahahaha Yess
Chain was a trinket you had show up a few tomes that would have worked as/with magnet
finnaly a DDDR
35:27 drinks a potion but ally is shielded
Cool vid
i feel like straight would be better if it was "Attack front-most twice" and if it killed it would go to the next one in line
Duck Duck Goose
A die, a duck and a deck walk into a bar..
And the bartender, he's a d...
I'm leaving an extra like for you in the comments.. x3 Just for that incredible video title! I avidly appreciate your alliteration, ally of the Internet Mr. Olexa! 😄
Additionally an alliterative aspect adds astounding appeal!
Are you gonna be playing windblown by any chance
Pretty low chance. Not my kinda game
DUCK
In floor 100 that is a hidding boss
do you think you will you ever play ALL the roguelikes?
I will never be able to keep up with
My take on the whole demo thingy is a combination out of humas just go insane if you put a "limited time only" on it and how social media works and how freaking huge the scene is nowadays. Giving a game 5 minutes of big hype is just much more effective as giving the same amount of attention over months.
No duck building ō-0 ?
Try windblown
It’s really not my kinda game haha
tbh its not that good of a game in my opinio
is dead cells a good game to start my rogue-like journey??
It’s an okay one! I’d maybe start with something with shorter runs tbh.
@@OlexaYT everyone's telling me to try either dead cells or hades
I don’t like either for what it’s worth haha. But depends what you like
@@OlexaYT appreciate your comment i would be delighted and day would get better if i were to receive a suggestion straight from olexa.
@@shiwansh_bind hades is fire imo
Hi
Hello
In my opinion the magnetic trinket would only be good for the thornvine, and gear seems way too good
Edit: magnetic is actually awful cuz you can’t get any combos
I will never understand why every TH-camr that makes obscure video game videos are, also, the worst at playing videogames.
We obliterated 98% of this game. Our build just wasn’t fit for the final boss
@@OlexaYT Yeah, so why couldn't you beat the final boss?
I noticed Olexa would choose rerolls without checking if they were upgraded dice (and more worthwhile) or skipping trinkets because there's no magnets even though his wood dice was trinketless and I assume it's a trade off for entertainment. If he plays more carefully and deliberately, then he is more likely to spend time inspecting what some viewers think are the wrong things (because they are more perceptive, intuitive, or impatient). That analysis slows down the video and makes for worse entertainment for many.
Seizing on an early strategy and doubling down on it seems to be a common streamer strategy which can make for a rollercoaster that's entertaining because it worked or complete failure -- so long as either was fun to watch, the outcome is probably a successful *video*.
Retromation did something recently with Trashcan+Incinerator in Ballionaire, but his ended up breaking the game and his score to integer overflowed into negatives -- entertaining because it got so crazy!
@@hardtofinduniquename I don't think it's hard to break or beat some of these games. Many steamers can do it without having any familiarity with the mechanics.
Olexa on the other hand... I've seen his some of his other videos and, like many others, he just seems to be blind and unable to math.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ sorry for not winning everything perfectly on my first try.
Very cute Game, but the Font used all over the Game ist straight up awful 😅
Is this the return of the alliteration title king? 😃
