Perris has a lot of potential but our mayor has no interest in listening to our communities interests.
The sad thing is there is more than 100 warehouses in perris alone, 30 more approved. They are built next to schools as it wasn’t bad enough.
There are a lot of potholes, trash, broken glass, homeless, and restaurant & retail negligence, these shop owners do not take care of their stores. The city does not fix these problems, and will only do so in two scenarios: 1.) the community begs for the roads to be fixed. 2.) A warehouse was recently approved and the developer wants to widen the road (no proper class 4 bicycle lanes, and causes more long term traffic problems & maintenance costs)
Speaking of tenant ship, there’s really nothing beyond Walmart and rite aid, for our youth to gather and hang out at. Do you know how many times I my neighbor told me “let’s go to stater bros?”
Most families in perris don’t even shop in perris. We have to go out of town to run our errands/splurge and shop. You have to drive a car to go anywhere, and if you don’t have a drivers liscense, forget it. Looks like you and your friends will be eating In-N-Out again for the 50th time.
It shouldn’t have to be like this, and yet it is. Perris, the small town low-income community of color. Yet our land zoned for commercial is being exploited by big industrial warehouse/logistics developers with no remorse for our communities backlash

me too! My house is worth quite a bit and my mortgage is low. Thank God because I don't make any money (retired). My kids, grand kids can sell it when I'm gone.

Menifee is perfect because it isn’t so expensive like Temecula, but it’s also not so dangerous like San Bernardino, Perris in the other hand is Moreno Valley + Hemet except there’s little to no good in it, Perris is one of the unsafest cities to drive in within the IE

And there's no Sprouts Farmers Market here we have to go to Menifee for that I'm sorry but I'm a healthy person and I don't like shopping at Stater Brothers I like shopping at Sprouts it's healthier food and Sprouts doesn't want to come here because there's too many Hispanics here and Hispanics typically don't eat healthy they eat cheese and they definitely don't eat organic I need to live in a city that has either Whole Foods or Sprouts Farmers Market

I lived in menifee for 3 years in an apartment and it got super expensive and I was going to school so I moved to Riverside ca with my in laws but my husband and I want to buy a house soon and I know Perris is cheaper but has crime. Which area has less crime. I mainly lived in Temecula all my life lol and we kinda want to stay between riverside and Temecula because of both sides of the family.

That’s definitely a great question, overall Menifee has less crime.

@@kennethbowie1828 why only Temecula? Menifee and Murrieta are a little more affordable and 10-15 mins from Temecula

@@LIVINGINSOUTHCALIFORNIA it's crazy beautiful in Temecula. Moreno valley is okay. I've been to Hemet, Murrieta, etc. They all feel deserted. I know it's the desert, but feels so depressing here. Like you're in the middle of nowhere, which we pretty much are. Temecula doesn't feel like that for me.

Feel bad for those that live there, all i can say is you make your community what it is, you have the power to change things
