Wow, amazing tank and fish. The male Dovii is thick and beautiful! Love the Trimacs too, my favorite amphilophus. Are the gold with black specales bass kelberi? The are so nice. Thank you for sharing. Really enjoying your channel.

Hey Paul,
What temp is it inside your fish room when it’s 37 out today? Looking to return to fish keeping and breeding. Have a room thermometer in my single car garage and internal temp was top of 39 today.
Any tips on cooling the room down for temps like these on the GC/Brisbane?
My room is kinda in open air so 37
In a garage you will really need aircon
Reverse cycle would be cheaper than heating in winter though
I absolutely love that tank. How do you get Dovi, and Trimac in a community setup like that? I’m growing out a male Trimac and I want to introduce it to community predator tank but I’m scared.
It depends on a few different things
Mostly size and amount of fish so there’s not one target.
It wouldn’t work in tanks smaller than 8x3 foot floor space as the bigger cichlids would take up half the tank once they pair up
@@paulstingray thanks for your response. I have a 8x3 - 350gl tank that’s stocked heavy with 2 jaguars, 2 red pikes, lenticulata pike, Zebrina pike, Bleekeri(starry nite), green terror, arowana, 2 Hoplarchus Psittacus(true parrots).
