I test drove this car today...SE. I loved it! Seats and head rest were very comfortable. I weigh a little over 200 lbs and the seat was wide enough and comfortable. The head rest was comfortable..I have neck issues. I liked the feeling if sitting up higher although, it was easy getting out of the car. I loved the extra room in the cargo area. I probably will be buying this car. 😊

Great review, thanks. I bought a 2020 Edge SEL on Saturday and I love it. Its fun to drive and the options are great.

Looked seriously at the Ford Edge when I purchased a midsize SUV two years ago. Overall I liked the vehicle. The standard engine is certainly adequate in terms of performance but while I like 2.0L turbos (I have one in my GTI), I was (and remain) skeptical of its durability in a vehicle that weighs over 2 tons before adding fuel, passengers, and gear. I had no complaints about the Edge's performance with the standard engine. Scalding performance in a midsize SUV isn't an especially high priority for me (or most consumers). But the long term stress placed on the engine gave me pause. And Ford's relatively short power train warranty (5 yr/60K miles) doesn't reduce my skepticism.
As a result I focused on the ST model with its 2.7L twin scroll turbo V6. The difference in performance was more than significant, especially in terms of straight line acceleration. And I had greater faith in the V6 with 700 cc's more displacement. On the other hand, my wife cast the deciding vote against the Edge. (The family SUV is her daily driver.) She complained that the driving position made her feel like she was at the stern of a very long boat with the distance between the edge of the dash to the base of the windshield great enough to hold a surfboard. And stop light drag racing isn't her thing. Add to that the "50 Shades of Gray" interior and less than perfect fit of components in a $40K+ vehicle and I had to reluctantly agree. We opted instead for a top trim KIA Sorento the same size as the Edge with a 3.3L NA V6, a far better warranty (both for the power train and for bumper to bumper coverage), a much more upscale interior and numerous features, at the same price as the Edge ST. If I were making the decision today, I'd make the same choice.

Nice vehicle, sleeper on a highway, stable and precise. Noticed somewhat hesitant shifting in low speeds. Also, doors feel heavy and clunky.

Front interior looks unimpressive. What type of fuel injection? Multi-Direct Duel, MultiPort, Direct injection? When you show the rear leg room, you need to tell the viewers what position the front seats are in.
