After the death of Jaikishan Shanker gave music in the movie Sanyasi.
All song were hit, sung by Mukeshjee and Lata.
LP HAS A GREAT RESPECT FOR SJ. The GOLDEN DISK for Bobby was received by LP from the hands of SHANKARJI.
Not taking Shankar at that time, after Jaikishen's death, is understandable. But I will never forgive Raj Kapoor for completely ignoring Shankar later on. He didn't even attend shankar's funeral in 1987.

Rajkapoor was a University of film making. He had deep knowledge and involvement in every aspect and every domain of film making. When Devanand did not like the script of Jis Desh me Ganga Behti hai, Rajkapoor made it a landmark film which inspired even Jai Prakash Narain to bring dreaded dacoity in mainstream. If Mera naam joker failed, it's clipping and songs are still evergreen. If songs of Dosti got Filmfare award in preference to songs of Sangam, the songs of Sangam are still very popular, especially 0 mere Sanam.

Shankar jaikishan is numro uno
RK and many producers blamed Shankar for not forgiving Jaikishan for a small mistake and Jaikishan started drinking heavily leading to his death. Mukesh, lata were very much against Shankar but they both sang songs for sanyasi. RK wanted to sign Shankar for Satyam Shivam sundarm but here also Mukesh forced RK to sign LP. Few hours before his death in UK, Mukesh said he is in the film industry and made a name it is thanks to Shankar Jaikishan.
Though you always mix fact with gossip and on many matters in your several videos on Shanker Jaikishan, but you are making more videos on them that's why I don't want to disurb you on those videos. But I would like to convey my two points that Boot Polish didn’t have a single Lata song in the film but the film and its music were hit.
Shanker too did some excess as his loyalty to RK. And said something for Lata. But same RK ditched him when Shanker needed more moral support. RK could have announced another film with with its music by SJ, even if he wouldn't make any film with him. But it would have given boost to morale of the music director.

I would partly blame Lata for breaking up RK and SJ combination. She stopped singing fo SJ and after Jaikishen departed took
" revenge" on Shanker ji, and finally sang the superb songs for Sanyasi.
Raj Kapoor had many tunes in his Music Bank which wete created by SJ. SJ wete on RK monlthy pay roles & they were making tunes regularly. RK kept tunes which he liked fir his future films. In all films RK made afterwards music directors used those tunes to create popular songs.
Some of the the back round music scored in earlier RK films were converted in to tune for songs in his future films

the songs and the melody from rk,s film bobby had a huge SJ influnce tunes for 3 songs from film bobby were direct tunes of the great sj made for earlier rk films incl boot p;olish and jis desh main ganga bahethi hai this was told by none other than a senior RK prod controller of that time who sadly is not around

राज कपूर और अन्य कपूर भाईयॊ जैसे खुदगर्ज इंसान पुरी बॉलीवूड इंडस्ट्री मे नही है. जयकिशन साहब की आकस्मिक मृत्यु होने के बाद, मानवीय दृष्टिकोन से शंकर साहब को ही बॉबी के संगीतकार होना चाहिए था लेकिन लता - मुकेश और कपूर परिवार की वजह से शंकर साहब को नही लिया गया. जब बॉबी की म्युसिक सीटींग्स शुरु हुई तब राज कपूर को शंका-जयकिशन और लक्ष्मीकांत-प्यारेलाल का फरक समझ मे आया. लक्ष्मी प्यारे की सभी धुने रिजेक्ट करके शंकर-जयकिशन की म्युसिक बँक उनके हाथो मे थमाई और कहा की इनमेसे धुने चुनो और उसपर संगीत का साज चडाओ. बॉबी की ही नही बल्की सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम की भी सभी धुने शंकर-जयकिशन साहब की ही थी. इन दोनो फिलमो मे लक्ष्मीकांत-प्यारेलाल संगीतकार नही बल्की म्युसिक अरेंजर्स थे. सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम को राज कपूर और अन्य कपूर भाई, शंकर साहब को संगीतकार लेना चाहते थे लेकिन मुकेश ने सक्त मना किया और लक्ष्मी-प्यारे को ही वो फिल्म दिलवाई, लेकिन कुदरत का खेल देखिए, जीस मुकेश को शंकर - जयकिशन ने बुलंदी पर पहुचाया, उसी शंकर साहब को मुकेश ने नजर अंदाज किया / विरोध किया और चंचल शीतल निर्मल कोमल गाना उसका आखरी गीत साबित हुवा. फिल्म रिलीज होने के पहेले मुकेश का इंतकाल हुवा. सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम फिल्म लक्ष्मी-प्यारे करना नही चाहते थे क्यूकी उनके गुरु के धुने चुराना उनकी आत्मा उने इजाजत नही दे रही थी. फिर भी लक्ष्मी प्यारे शंकर-जयकिशन की धुने फिरसे चुराने के लिए क्यू राजी हुए वो एक अलग किस्सा है.

Lataji main reason hoga, per Bobby ke gane nayab the, ek naya singer Shailendra Singh ko introduce karke ek lovestory ke liye jo chahiye tha, waisa different tunes Laxmikant Pyarelal ne diya. Ye aur baat hai ki Rajkapoor jo director the uske song selection, music director selection, singer ka selection hamesha behatarin raha hai. (Flop film "Mera naam Joker" mein bhi acche geet the)

LP were friendly with Shankar Jaikishan, so much so that when Laxmikant got married, he invited them and great Shankar embraced Laxmikant lovingly. Mukesh must have spoiled Shankar future by instigating RK and other producers not to sign Shankar, but Nitin Mukesh was gracious enough to invite Shankar personally for his wedding though Mukesh was not alive.

Truly Raj Kapoor was a Bewafaa . He had his own problems with Lata on payment and other issues but he chose to push Shankarji under the bus while making Bobby and peace with Lata. The flashpoint between Lata and Shankarji was, Lata being made to sing "main kya karu Raam" from Sangam which in her conveniently selective moralistic point of view was obscene. It was Raj Kapoor who engineered this and also shot the so called obscene scenes on Vyantimala. Ofcourse scenes from Bobby, Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Ram Teri Ganga... etc got a clean hit from Lata and Shankarji became a scapegoat . Also Randhir Kapoor who was jelling well with RD Burman and other music directors wanted a change at RK. This rubbed off on Rishi so it became impossible for Shankarji to return to RK.
Yes Sir you are right to some extent. Though there was misunderstanding between Lataji and Raj kapoor ,Lataji was not against Rajkapoor but she was against Great Shankarji ,one who gave her biggest break. Besides Mukesh ji also was in that conspiracy which created pressure on Rajkapoor. But off course it was destiny of great Shankarji that he never bow down before any one in that matter. All music lover never blamed Shankarji but Rajkapoor.

क्योंकि आप शंकर जयकिशन के फैन हो इसलिए आप को यह बात हजम नही हो रही की एल पी को राज कपूर ने बॉबी में क्यों लिया । आप को एल पी से ईरखा हो रही है। आप हमेशा SJK-SJK की रट लगाए रहते हो । बेशक वह एक महान म्यूजिक डिरेक्टर है। लेकिन एल पी का कोई तोड़ नहीं।

एल पी से बेहतर गीत एवरेज में कल्याणजी आनंदजी के बेहतर थे , लक्ष्मो कान्त के गीत ज्यादा तर मेलों में और रिक्श पोलर ही पसन्द करते थे , जितने चीप गीत भारतीय फिल्म में इन दोनों ने दिए किसी ने नही , लता की लड़ाई थी शंकर से और रफी जी से भी रॉयल्टी की वजह से तो कई फिल्मों में रफी और सुमन कल्याण पुर को लेना पड़ा , सिर्फ ढोलक छाप गीतों के राजा थे एल पी जो लता की वजह से सफल हुए , और लता ने काफी बैनर शंकर जयकिशन के एल पी को दिलवाए शंकर जय किशन का कोई मुकाबला नही , एल पी ने शुरू में कुछ धुनें रोशन जी की कैप्चर की थी ,
