    Amazing video! One thing that stood out to me was that you find the broad Flashcards to be best for you, I think that might be mostly because of your specific field. For example in medicine (I was pre med for my associates degree) the specific Flashcards geared towards image occlusion and memorization helped me the most. In my one semester as a civil engineering student the best bet was absolutely trying to understand the whole picture and how you’d use formulas and piece things together, like in your case. As a current computer science student I’m still unsure how the best way to study is other than just making stuff and problem solve/recall things that way. Just smth I thought about when you mentioned it, again love the videos!

    I love monopoly too, but for some reason whenever I play with my cousins, I go completely and totally bankrupt within two hours of playing. Honestly the only way to win a game for me is probably to snatch up the fake banknotes and run away🙂

      its always hard but just find a way to get your mind lost in what you are doing after a month see what you miss then add it back in with constraints.

      Hey, I'm studying electrical too. What I've realized over the years is that learning and working are much simpler than we make it to be. Just sit down in a calm environment and try your best to focus on the work you have. I noticed that over time it gets easier and easier to lock into some focused state and get the task done, so don't give up! Hope it's your second week without social media now, that should be helping too. Best wishes.

    Dyslexia is not a learning difficulty James. Its that you have difficulties with writing and reading. There are super fast learners and high IQ people with dyslexia.

    • @jallmo
      @jallmo  หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      It's a learning difficulty in reading and writing compared to the standard academic curriculum, but there's so much more to life than that. Creativity and problem-solving have definitely put me above average-just look at people like Albert Einstein. In my experience, dyslexia brings more strengths than weaknesses, so it’s best not to use it as a label.
