Denver had to be one of the most sincere musicians of all time. I remember reading a bio that said he started feeling down about himself some years after this interview because music tastes changed and left him behind, and he started becoming the butt of jokes among some cynical music fans. It makes me sad to think that this wonderful man didn't realize how many people truly loved him and his art regardless of how popular tastes changed. 😢

John was a great entertainer. Great at having things to talk about in interviews. Very open about his feelings. What a loss it was to to the world when he died.

    Beautiful share. Thank you:)
Interesting on children choosing parents. I’ve wondered about that at times. I wish every man could take pointers from John. There would be a lot of happier women out there:)
John gets me every time singing, “Follow Me”. One of my absolute faves.:) Beautiful! Thank you.

From what I understand that’s not an unfamiliar concept in Buddhism - children choosing their parents. I tell a story that my son chose us (I feel very blessed). Half joking but I think an element of truth. JD - Beautiful man. Beautiful interview. Beautiful soul. 🙏

That part with John Davidson singing along with him was cut out. If that was intentional, THANK YOU!

Who wanted to hear John Davidson sing? And the note at the end, trying to outdo Mr. Denver. Showoff
