    The issue with projectors is that they will never be as good picture quality wise as a nice television. I would choose a 98" TV over a 110" projector 10 out of 10 times. not to mention the difficult setup process that you run into with most projectors. Now, I am speaking based on price vs. size between the two. I understand someone choosing a projector to get a 130" screen for the price of a 75" TV when they are close in price.

      I do 14 foot. It's less impactful on the room. I just use the wall ie no screen. Took 60 seconds to setup the screen not including app setup but that was free since I used an existing fire cube. But I agree for me in needs to be bigger.

      I also don’t think projectors can display a Dolby vision movie, with all the steps of luminance, unless one was released in the past half of a year….

      I bought my first projector (Xgimi Horizon Pro) 3 months ago and I use it in my living room with the curtains both down and up and I think the picture is awesome, even though it gets a little bit gray when the sun is on the screen, but it's still watchable. I have watched OLED TV a lot before and while the picture is a little bit better, having a 120" screen is much more enjoyable for me compared to better picture quality.
      The only thing I hated with a projector is that I needed an 8 meter long HDMI cable to connect my speakers to the projector, but what I really love compared to any tv is that no matter where I sit the quality is ALWAYS the same.

      Contrast on beamers are Not good. Even with alr Screens. I own 3 Epson beamers and one pana. I know what i am talking about. Even the worst Led TV holds Up easily. Only 5k Up Beamer can handle it a Bit better for sacraficing light Power with shutters.

    Hey I am glad, I ignore most of the people who claim you can only enjoy the best tv, with an oled…. For I like the mini led, x95k from Sony, but I am waiting for them to figure out vrr, and local dimming, for a bigger I’m talking 95+ big tv… which I could go oled, but I will need to see some long term results and feelings about how the qd oled looks and performs in its larger size. I should also say I am only willing to buy a Dolby vision tv, at the present time.

    My 85" Vizio P Series Quantum X just updated a couple of days ago when I had Auto Update turned off. I was so upset when I turned on my television and my TV informed me that it had updated. I had the picture settings exactly how I wanted them and have had to readjust the settings over the last couple of days. My only complaint with my TV was its motion handling but it did correct that with the update. I'm just frustrated that I've had to adjust my settings again. So, I've disconnected my television from the internet so it will not update again.

      @@richardcerritelli9657 If you’re watching sports, absolutely. Gaming and movie watching are going to be significantly better on the 83. I upgraded to the 97” G2 and it’s definitely bigger (and better), but I’m not sure I would have done that for a 98” LCD. Those new 110” and 115” tvs though may have pulled me from my OLED collection.

    Just to confirm, is this TCL the C735? Or is it the R754? Which specific model is the TCL, does anyone know please? I think C735 is 2021 and R754 is 2022????? But if anyone is able to clarify that would be awesome!! Reason being is that the C735 is currently on sale in Australia for $7,000, I was considering getting it but them I'm wondering if the C735 is the old model....... and if THIS video is reviewing/comparing the R754

      @@mattjohns3526 hey mate I did my own comparisons and basically this one in review is a higher/better version then one available in Aus. Was also told to me by main rep at good guys - I was going to buy the TCL there and then. When watching the TCL in store I noted it was only TV not playing video and when I asked for it I saw noticeable “jumpy” bits when watching fast moving scenes

    • @hypeaf2179
      @hypeaf2179 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just asked the same thing mate haha - I assume that the one in this video is the R754. I also assume that the C735 is on sale in Australia at a pretty good price of $7,000 in preparation for the R754 coming available, to sell all the C735's before the R754 is out. Also makes sense if they're talking about $8,000 USD for this TCL (which is $1,000 less then what we can get on sale AUD now), so I estimate when the R754 comes out it will be about $11,400 AUD. But it looks amazing, I'll probably wait for a black Friday sale on it and buy it when possible......
