    I've not made these mistakes, but I've said 'fa caldo' when I trying to say it's cold - after some embarrassment I think I finally nailed it. It didn't help either that for me as a Swedish speaker, cold is 'kallt'.

    Hi. Remember that jeans, like pants or trousers, are always used in the plural so we’d never say ‘a jeans’. Instead just ‘jeans’ or ‘a pair of jeans’.
    Great work. I really value your videos.

    grazie mille..è molto utile...ma che dire del verbo 'pagare'? Penso che non prenda anche la preposizione

    • @teacherstefano
      @teacherstefano  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hai ragione!! “To pay for” in inglese non vuole nessuna preposizione in italiano con il verbo “pagare”.

    "Porto" sounds like 'transport' so, "I'm transporting my sister" - it's unusual and 'commercial' but completely comprehensible.

    Hi - Ivam a little confused - you used the passato prossimo - Ho aspettato I miei amici per 2 ore - but translated this as I have been waiting for ... I thought passato prossimo was started and finished in the past - ie I waited for my friends for 2 hours. Does the passato prossimo also include actions that start in the past and continue in the present?

    • @teacherstefano
      @teacherstefano  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi I meant to say that I waited for my friends for two hours and then they eventually arrived or didn’t. “I have been waiting my friends for 2 hours” is not the correct translation and I just realized that. Sorry for the confusion

    In tedesco non usano spesso l'articolo determinativo, quasi mai!
    Dicono "Mango una mela o mango pizza."
    Si dico "Mango la mela" voglio dire questa mela e non l'altra. Ma non sono interesata quasi mai in una mela specifica. Non mi importa quella mela sia, quindì - una mela.
    Qando gli italiani parlano tedesco le cose pui obvio è il lore uso degli articoli.

    Ciao Stefano! Fantastico! Guido io miei amici spesso! ahaha. Ma, e' possibile dire "ho guidato la macchina" o "non voglio un bicchiere di vino perche devo guidare la macchina"? Grazie!!

    • @teacherstefano
      @teacherstefano  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sì certo! Puoi dire “ho guidato la macchina” “non bevo perché devo guidare”. L’importante è non dire “ho guidato la macchina a casa” oppure “non bevo perché devo guidare a casa”. Puoi guidare la macchina ma non guidare la macchina to places. Un abbraccio :)
