- I'm joined by Taylor and Sarah from American theme park TH-cam channel - Coaster Studios! I get their very first reactions to riding Hyperia - the UK's tallest and fastest roller coaster! Having ridden another Mack Hyper Coaster - DC Rivals, in Australia, I was very interested to hear how Hyperia would compare.

I went to Thorpe Park last Saturday! I got on Hyperia twice, once on the 4th row and the other one on the front row! It’s the best roller coaster I’ve ever been on.
How busy was the park?
I went on Sunday and its pretty much the only thing I did haha. Got a front row for my first ride and it was amazing and then on the backrow in the afternoon and it was phenominal. love it
@@lewz_r I somehow managed to do all the rides along with Hyperia twice! Best day of my life!

@@Callum29 yeah when I went everything things were over an hour and although I maybe could of done them all I would rather get more rides on Hyperia because I've been before and none of the rides were really anything I was going to force myself to do again when they didnt really wow me the first time

Wholesome vid, agree with everything Taylor said about the ride completely, I had no idea how fast it was going to feel. So happy they both loved it, even with its short layout. Really shows that quality can trump quantity
I rode Hyperia on opening day, and I can safely say that it has the best layout I’ve ever experienced!! What a creation

Jack is actually such a top bloke I also met him, maybe he’ll see this comment it was mid June and it had just reopened, last ride of the day the operators sent it round about three times and let everyone stay on the train. coming out of the gift shop I had a double take like.. did I just ride Hyperia for the first time with Jack? I don’t think these creators realise they make the experience so much more special for the enthusiasts. Anyway he took pictures with everyone he was super friendly, keep it up Jack
I always wondered if they got to ride it since they met up with Jack back last year when the the Hyperia site (then known as Project Exodus) was just a mud field! Glad they enjoyed it!
Jack your next video should be "Riding Hyperia all day long how many rides did we get" or something like that I'd love to see one just as you did it for the swarm and smiler

I finally got to drive down and ride this earlier in the week. 45 Min Queue + 20 Minute Wait for a turd to be removed from the queue line (yes you read that right). I was fairly certain this was going to be good but I had no mental preparation of how good it was going to be. Somehow managed a front row for first ride. The speed and and that outer bank turn was just something else. I was expecting the section running up to the brakes to be tame but I was shocked how much pace it still had and those last 2 turns still whipped you out of your seat. It's one of the reasons I rate Nemesis so highly because it keeps its pace or even increases it all the way to the end, rather than drag it out, roller coaster tycoon style. Its no wonder it is getting international intention.

Great video. If you are visiting the UK from overseas there are great rail services to Staines and even a shuttle bus from the train station to the park.

I’m going to Thorpe park in a couple of weeks and im going to ride hyperia. I live in America and the only theme park I’ve been to in America is kings island so I am looking forward to riding some rides there that I’ve never rode before
Gonna be riding hyper coaster before hyperia and i live in England, can’t wait to compare the 2. Shambhala my current number one so could be in jeopardy 👀

Such a good coaster - I rode it a week ago and I still can't get over that first ride in the back row - fuck me u guys have outdone yourselves ty so much thorpe and u jack for covering the construction- was waiting each day for a new update we appreciate u on mass ty ❤

I went to Hyperia on the 23rd of June and I got 9th row it’s the best row here
i would call it a sideways immalmin, because thats what it is a immulmin pulled sideways.
are we not getting a fright nights behind the scenes this year? cos there havent been teasers or anything for one yet and also youve been very busy with hyperia

I did Hyperia for the first time today. Really really good ride…nowhere near Velocicoaster for me. Of course it’s a subjective thing but came nowhere it, far too short for a start. However, it’s great fun.

Hyperia is more fearsome tbh. But it’s no where near as good as Velociscoaster.

I don’t think Thorpe will have the record for long. If universal do builder park in the UK, I think they will go for the hight record.
That’s still 6ish years (provided that one taller opens with the park)
Issue is that Universal is more of a family park in comparison to Thorpe
I doubt it, Universal seem to love launch coasters because of their capacity and ability to be themed; just look at VelociCoaster. I reckon pleasure beach are more likely to take the record back tbh.
Universal wont bother with records, they dont need to. They will aim for themed coasters that are really good like velocicoaster.

this ride is cursed, i been on it last week. its NOT the best coaster that everyone is making out to be.. there is better coasters out there! i came off this battered and bruised :( this ride hurt.
