I went on 16th of August and I can honestly say collossus is the roughest head banger I’ve ever been on. If you’re under 5:9 avoid at all cost because you can’t even ride defensively. I 100% had concussion from it.
Normally though, saw can flood and cause it to go down, stealth & swarm has beyond wet trains due to the outdoor station, colossus is just purely unenjoyable in the rain

After going with my family a few months ago, I knew I had to get back for Hyperia. I managed to convince all of my friends to go on a trip there this Friday, and I can't wait to see there reactions to it, in my opinion one of the best coasters in the world

18:48 Stealth after one year of opening they had to modify it due to rollbacks by increasing the speed by 2 mph going from 2.4 to 1.8 and it does 82 mph because of the frequent roll backs so it's not 2.1 and the train is still actually on the launch track when it hits 82 mph for the final bit of the launch track as you could feel the acceleration stop on the launch track and that's coming from someone who has ridden hundreds of times.
Honestly I'm a local as well only 30 minutes with no traffic from thorpe park and it's mental it's my favourite ride so far in the world and it's right on my doorstep so perfect and all because of that 1 first drop it's legendary
What I find funny is that when I was younger and was playing planet coaster I always built the outer bank that turns into an inversions before it was ever used on a coaster and I always thought it was too weird to be put on an actual coaster. Guess I was proven wrong.

Hyperia opening day was next level! Never thought in my life I’d have gone to Thorpe park for 4am but it was totally worth it just to get on Hyperia! Managed to snag one of the exclusive hoodies too 👀 very happy to have such an amazing rollercoaster so close!!

Hyperia felt so surreal the 2 times I went on it thought the first time took a while as our whole train got sent back to the airgates and specifically my seat had to be checked for an hour. Thorpe is my favourite park and has my No1,3,4 but I feel like a 2nd punch is needed for the park to be even better

Me & my daughter were there that day, we spoke to you guys in the main building, that's us waving behind you at 25:42 😂 We only managed one ride on Hyperia due to que length so for me the best in the UK is still Icon. My opinion might change after more rides but being from Scotland we don't get down that often.
Thorpe park has good rides and one amazing ride with Hyperia. But i think it's realy lacking in managing crowds and keeping the downtime on numerous rides as low as possible. I did not realy enjoyed my visit in this park until Hyperia opend the last hour of operation. Great vid never the less.

Thoroe Park seriously looks like they have such an amazing collection of rides. Maybe not the most variety because it's a lit of looping coasters but still looks so fun. Colossus, Saw, Hyperia, Stealth, Nemesis Inferno, and Swarm.
I think people forget that the real fastest acceleration is flucht von Novgorod which gets up to 62mph in 1.4seconds. However, since it is a rolling launch it doesn’t seem to count
19:20 ish they talk about Stealth's launch. Though it may be 2.1 seconds, Thorpe Park said they increased the acceleration to make it roll back less often, which might imply the launch was actually sped up and they didn't want to change the speed of 80 mph because it's a round number.
Going to Thorpe next month, can't wait to add this to my creds!!! Also Swarm too since last time I went to Thorpe was in 2010 so it wasn't there then, will be my first winged coaster, too! Hyperia looks insane!
I feel like that with ice breaker at SeaWorld! I think it's perfect it don't need to be longer. It's a very awesome coaster. And its so forceful it don't seem like it off ride but you get whipped around every corner!

Generally stealth does go to 80 in 1.8 but it fluctuates quite a lot . That one video is just a single example and it depends on the weather. If Stealth is running it’s best, it has the record but if maxx force is running it’s best, it doesn’t have the record.

According to RCDB stealths launch is faster accelerating. I will believe a trusted source over el toro Ryan lol. Also stealths launch reaches on average 2.079Gs and max force reaches 1.977Gs. If a full train it can reach 79mph but any more and it won’t make it over the 206 ft top hat. Max force is the same with a full train. The PoV footage I think he was referring to was before they updated the launch. Hope this helps!😊
No, I was not referring to a video before the update. Maxx Force factually has the more intense launch because Stealth reaches its max speed in 2.1 instead of 1.8 seconds. And I don't care what RCDB says. RCDB also posted TTD's launch at 3.8 seconds, which is just flat out incorrect. It was somewhere around 2.8 to 2.9 seconds. An actual accelerometer was literally put on the ride and it measured 2.8 seconds.
Jerk is different to acceleration. Maxx force has more powerful jerk, therefore the launch feels more powerful. Air launches are also more reliable so maxx force reaches the maximum acceleration more often than stealth does. However, stealth’s highest ever recorded acceleration was what was most likely used for advertising, despite stealth not usually reaching this acceleration

yeah we did ride it and filmed something about it- but because of all the rain, our mic had an issue where the audio was unusable and had to be cut. but we both really like it! the presection really sets it apart from others. great compact layout!

18:59 Stealth was upgraded to reach its max speed in 1.8s sometime in the 2000s. that video uses a pre upgraded stealth launch.

I love how they run their rides in the rain. If it rains that much then it's definitely good they do. That is a very fun experience as well.

RCDB just uses the info the parks release. If the actual stats change or are not as advertised, it likely will not appear on RCDB.
