in 1997 I watched this movie in Afghanistan. dreamed about going to Shaolin Temple one day. went there 10 years ago. Today I have my own Shaolin school in Australia ❤ Amitoufo
"cheesy 90s B-list action is my favorite movie genre" The fight scenes in this movie are far, far better than almost all Hollywood action movies of the 90s. How you did not pick up on that is really strange and surprising. The only ones that are equal to this are Hollywood movies were they brought in Hong Kong action masters to do the action scenes such as Yuen Wo Ping who directed the action of the Matrix trilogy (Yuen Wo Ping did not do the action for Matrix 4).
" There are times when a Shaolin must fight, and some people will not learn until they are taught a lesson." The way I mastered this line in my childhood 😅😅😅
Finally i found the movie after so many years ago, when i'm a kids a used to watched the movie with some friends,i've searching so many times like youtube, netfix and amazon prime but i was vague this movie name,so today here it is....😍☺
I'm 43 years old...I remembered watching this in Lima Peru in the 90's when my cousin brings VHS tape of karate blood sports, NO Regrets No surrender, Enter of Dragon etc ..the whole family reunite to watch this movie ..we talking about this during months... what a memories!!
Does anyone else remember the blue VHS tape? I remember the copy my local video rental store had was a dark blue compared to the black tapes that you usually seen. I actually bought the copy from the rental store when they put it up for sale.
I remember watching this movie when I was very young. But I didn't know the name of the movie. Because the movie was on VCR when I saw it. And I was very old then. This movie I have seen many movies considering the context of the event. But I didn't get this movie. Allah fulfilled my hope today by giving me this movie. So I am thanking God. thank you
This movie was so big when it came to Samoa it the 90s. I wanted to go see it at the movies but my older cousins wouldn't take me coz I was too young. And when they came home and told me how good the movie was, I wanted to see it so badly. l remember it. One of the first movie I picked at the video store when I moved to Australia 😂😂❤❤ great memories.
My uncle had a ton of VHS tapes I mean several book shelves full boxes in the basement. Scary movies ,sci-fi ,thrillers & kung fu. Many I thought I'd never see again, many I never got a chance to see. Imagine 30 years later they start popping up for free on TH-cam. Obrigado Tio Zè por todos os memorios 🙏🏼

syalom. film ini lucu tp memberi bnyk pelajaran ttg ketekunan, setia,jg pkerja keras tp bs menurunkan emosi akhirnya peroleh kemenangan hati jg buah dr kerja kerasnya. top pokoke...cz q suka film ttg Shaolin biasane pemeran utamane jet lee
eu tinha assistido esse filme na banda com a minha mãe e o meu irmão e um filme bom ele conta a história de um jovem que consegue vencer suas dificuldades
I remember watching this on cable late one night, many years ago. I've seen it several times since then and it has become one of my favorite movies. It just has a certain charm to it.
I watched this a lot in my teenager years when i trained Tae kwon Do! Great old times! At the beginning i thought that the villain in ponytail was Eric Robert from the fantastic classic 'Best of the Best' Movie
Despite of all its flaws, like bad sound editing and cheesey dialogue, I do like this movie a lot. Not just for the Martial arts but the story. The protagonist journeys to become a better fighter. But instead he learns to become a more peaceful man. He starts out as arrogant, reckless, and devoid of any purpose or direction. Through the Shaolin temple, he finds both physical and spritual enlightenment. He learns discipline, he matures into taking responsibility, he finds his sense of belonginess even. The part that I loved was when the head master tells him "You are like someone swimming in fresh water, and yet complaining "I thirst". Everything he needed to learn and wanted to be is in the Shaolin temple, and yet he kept rebelling against its rules
I have never seen a film's protagonist get laughed at by so many people, so often. The lead character Trevor Gottitail is the "Gaylord Faulker" of martial arts flicks. 😆🤣😂
I never get tired of watching this movie.Who is still watching in 2024?
yep! haha...had this on a box set DVD with a selection of other cheesy karate films, this was always my favourite
Not me 😂. This shit is GARBAGE 🤣.
Yep! Loved this movie since I was 7
da una buena enseñanza

Congratulation man you did it😊
I'm not gonna lie, cheesy 90s B-list action is my favorite movie genre. I really can't get enough of them.
Maybe its B-list movie, but two things are really nice here:
- main track
- fight sequences better than many top tier movies
These productions spent the money wisely! @@Camel-from-Arabia

I really apréciate the upload, is anyone else getting adds every 7 minutes? Breaks the whole movie
That actor who portrayed as San De here in American Shaolin was Henry O who also portrayed Master Yu in Rush Hour 3.
If you love this movie try ninja mission. Its about ninjas vs shaolin monk
50:17 _The tiger grasps the pearls_ 😂Sounds cooler than the common "Monkey steals the peach"
My second time watching this movie. It shows how consolidated we are as humans. Spread the love.
i am watching this first time it's a good martial arts movie with some comedy Kung fu it's good for show and movies

My favorite martial❤❤❤
I have never seen a film's protagonist get laughed at by so many people, so often. The lead character Trevor Gottitail is the "Gaylord Faulker" of martial arts flicks. 😆🤣😂
The wooden men segment is one of the most creative, and brutal martial arts ideas ever. Whomever came up with that, deserves an award.
😅
As a kid i was so scared by them bro i thought it some real monks shit like mokujin
Toute mon enfance ! 😊😊❤ merci pour la qualité de la vidéo 👍🙏🙏
I watched a lot of 80s 90s fighting movies but never heard of this one
Last time i ve seen that was 93-95,ty for all memories return
Amusing comedy. I've seen virtually the same story-line with J.C. Van Damme and the original Karate Kid with Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita.
