Ramadan is a very important pillar of Islam.. Ramadan also makes you realise and understand the feelings of the people who cannot afford basic human necessities such as food clothing or shelter..

Then you gourge after sunset because Allah can't see you. That's hardly knowing real hunger. I skip breakfast and lunch quite often. It's no big deal. More weight is gained during Ramadan than any other time in Islamic countries. Get real.

Sei Brav that's a lie. You should fast the Islamic way and see how it really is, instead of lying your tooth off. Allahualam

Ramadan is such a special time of the year. It's about bringing you back to the basics. It helps you recharge. My kids love it and can't wait for Ramadan to arrive. We have developed some wonderful memories of getting up early in the morning as a family, making special foods, and then fasting together....Alhumdulillah. When I fast, hunger is usually not an issue after the first 3-4 days. It doesn't matter if someone is drinking or eating in front of me.

According to extensive studies Ramadan fasting has proven to be one of the healthiest diets. Researches call it Intermittent fasting! Persons with health problems or who are overweight benefit enormously from this fasting especially if they refrain from breaking their fast by eating pasties!

only if one doesnt overeat at suhr/iftar... also fasting for 16 hours every now and then kick boost immune system (white cells) which is very needed during current times

Fasting Ramadhan is mandatory (Wajib), but there are also any kinds of optional fasting (Sunnah)--if you do these, you get reward but if you dont, there are no punishment. Exemple, Syawal fasting, fasting in Hajj month, etc

    • @z_tiger311
      @z_tiger311 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Yes it's mandatory for every mature & able body but there are permissions to not fast in certain cases like travelling, sickness, women who are in their periods, very old people...etc there must be a very good reason(Huja), if any of those are met then you can either post-pone it or give charity (sadaka) for every single day..........so we're not suppose to make a judgement on anyone unless we know their reasons first & even after that the door for repentence is still open to correct the mistakes.

Praying 5 times a day is not only for Ramadan, but for the whole lifetime, all year around.
When you fast Ramadan you must have the intention to fast in order to please Allah and not to fulfill traditions, if you fast for traditions you will receive no reward.
The reward for fasting Ramadan as you should, is unlimited.

fasting Ramadan is compulsory and cant be postponed for any reason except illness
and for those who don't fast Ramadan for no reason the quran says they gonna have to pay the penalty by fasting 2 months continuously .
please learn Islam from the Qur'an and not from personal opinions and thoughts .
there is no choice of believing and rejecting in Islam .. take the Qur'an as it is or stop calling ur self a Muslim.

I used to be a rather faithful christian, it has taken me years to to be more honest with myself, & confess to myself that we surely made most of the religious dogma up to placate & control others & give a since of peace to them/ourselves who are convinced it's true. But in the end it does more harm than good, (i.e. wasting lives in every since one can think of). Let's just be truthful, & I sure hope we have nothing to fear from the overwhelming majority of muslim's. Be free but not foolish...

The gentleman at about 02:15 is not right about postponing Ramadan a few months down the calendar. Ramadan is a month of the Islamic Calendar and postponing it would be like having January in August.
Yes, Islam is very flexible and has guidelines on who is exempt and who is required to fast. But we simply cannot manipulate a calendar month to our convenience. I know Canadians who fast 17+ hours a day. They could easily move it to December and enjoy 8-9 hours of fast 😉. Hope I clarified this.

Not religous means not a muslim! Working is not a reason not to fast!
