I feel like I started having Braxton Hicks for the past couple of days, but I am only 19 weeks pregnant. It was painful and terrifying last night, but then I remembered my body knows what its doing and I felt grateful for the opportunity to practice my breathing technique. My body immediately relaxed and I fell asleep.
This is the first time I comment in one of your videos, I found you since I found out I’m pregnant and your channel is definitely my favorite: I have been learning a lot with you, your videos are easy to understand and my english isn’t perfect but I connected immediately with your personality, you seem a real person, I like your positivism and advices I’m 36 weeks pregnant, this will be my first baby 💙 and just yesterday I was looking information about this and wow, you read my mind 🙏🏻
Hi Ivy! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment and congratulations on your pregnancy! Yes… you are getting close at 36 weeks! Cheering you on! 💞
Idk if im having braxton hicks or contractions… im 39 weeks and started feeling like all the baby ligaments poking out at the same time (like perhaps an arm butt foot… my stomach will look like 4 knots) which is painful but if I breathe through it she relaxes then i can relax. I assume maybe the contractions are causing her to poke out though, idk 🤷🏽♀️
I’m still not sure if I’m just feeling my baby push against me or if it’s braxton hicks, I’m 36 weeks & don’t really feel tightening or any pain in my back but feel an increased tightening across my belly a lot! It isn’t painful but very uncomfortable
I feel the same and was curious to see if it’s Braxton hick or not. My usual baby moves are definitely different so I was suspecting it’s Braxton hicks but then again I was not getting my regular baby moves so that made me confused
Mines coming every 10, 11 mins and painful front and back pain every hour since 2am in the morning 🤦🏾♀️ going to the hospital tonight cause I can’t take it 😣
@jiyazooya9350 ask your doctor or midwife, but my understanding is that you time the contractions. If they are coming regularly, increasing in frequency, and lasting more than a couple minutes at a time, you should contact your doctor/ midwife/ labour and delivery ward. Or if they are too painful or you are worried about it, go in! They don't mind. My comment is 3 years old. I had my son at 42 weeks, and 1 year ago I had my daughters at 32 weeks. All three kids are healthy and happy! It sounds like you are at 33 weeks. Hopefully you go longer, but even if the baby comes now, they should be fine! Good luck!!!! Congratulations!!!!! You've got this
I just googled this yesterday. Because I'm not sure if I'm having Braxton Hicks or not. I get this tight heavy feeling a few times a day in my lower abdomen but nothing hurts. I usually go potty or sit for a little bit and they go away. Nothing regular.
I’ve been having consistent contractions for over a week for approximately 5-6hrs straight. I’m currently 3cm and have been sent home 4x due to false labor… This time feels different. I am currently 36 and 2 days pregnant. I am feeling my contractions in the pelvic floor with intense pressure in the rectum area. I’ve been turned away so many times at the Hospital I’m scared to even go back
Ive been having braxton contractions but ive had some where I feel cramps on my lower abdomen and cramps pressure on my lower back …. Does this mean im dilating? Im 37 weeks im so ready to have this baby
Mine is too painful for at least 3minute I came here to see if that's what is happening to me because it's too painful am 29 weeks 4 days and I started having this pain since am 20 weeks it's very painful and I can't even control it but cry 😖😖mine is painful
I’m 33 weeks pregnant and recently I’ve started feeling something strange. Not sure if it’s the baby moving around, but sometimes when I lay on my side it feels like what I can describe it as a cramp on your calf. Goes away after a few seconds to a minute or when I change position. Literally feels like an electric shock or something and it’s sorta around or below my rib cage. Could that be Braxton Hicks or fetal movement? I’m confused because it’s my first pregnancy.
Loved this video, especially the balloon demo! Have really valued your videos throughout both my pregnancies and post partum journeys. Just wanted to say, despite having intense and regular contractions, I thought I was only having prodromal labour at the start of my 2nd baby’s labour because I was only feeling contractions and pressure at the front. All the google results were telling me it was prodromal labour, because everything said for ‘true’ labour you feel from the back as well. A few hours later I was in transition 😂 so you definitely can sometimes feel true contractions only at the front; I felt it radiating at the front down into my pelvis and into tops of my thighs.
@@sharmainejackson3862 its mostly my son doing the most n moving n kicking n stuff like that my daughter moves around sometimes n kicks but not as much as he do tho lol ive always been feeling my son drop alot too
Very nice explained, I like your channel so much! But can you see BH on the monitor and not feel them at all? I'm 40w and toco number was going up to 60-70, nurse was surprised that I didn't feel anything.
I am 35 weeks pregnant and having sharp sudden pain mostly on my left side of the abdomen. Wonder if this is false labour or something else that needs to checked with the doctor.

Yes, BH are not a sharp pain. I would check with your doctor. Sometimes it’s nothing, but never hurts to check ❤️
