Thats actually a good point, I believe the organizers knew that families would be visiting, so they diversified not just fish shop booths but plants and exotic pets. Children find furry pets more interesting and friendly, while only adults find beauty in an extremely rare arowana.

That's a good observation. A few booths had nano sized fishes, and some for sale in bulk numbers.
Most of the space and fishes I noticed were for competition. Mostly arowana, goldfish and clown fishes

They had smaller fishes as well haha
It's amazing how these monster fishes all started as cute sized babies 🤕🥹
