That joke scene with Nate and the paddle actually means he is able to steel up individual parts of his body at will, which could actually save a lot of effects money cause they don’t have to show him steeling his whole body up and eliminates the problem of Nate never steeling up anymore.
I'd imagine it might be harder to steel individual parts of the body cuz then they'd have to track where the cgi meets the rest of the body, so it might be harder to make it look fluent and not choppy whereas it's not a problem if his whole body is steel cuz it's all cgi, no connections

Zari has consistently refused alcohol, and so did Behrad. This episode was the first time that it would be tremendously awkward for her to abstain without a specific reason, which they did. Glad they're doing ok by these characters.
Thomas Baker Definitely better than last season It reminds me of season three which had a perfect combination of comedy and Drama, which is why I did not like last season because I felt like it was way too comedic and as much as I love comedy last season went overboard.
Before I continue watching the actual reaction, I wanted to mention Marchosias (the puppy from last episode). This show is so ridiculous and silly, but they actually put a lot of research into the episodes! Marchosias is an actual demon from mythology that has the form of a dog. He's a marquis, which is where his name comes from, and can only take humanoid form with the help of a "magician" (so, sorcerer, wizard, etc.). I love that the show is silly enough to be like, "What if Gary adopted a hellhound that was the mind controlling Son of Sam's dog?" but also dedicated enough to find a real myth about a demon dog to base it on. The writers of Legends never cease to amaze me.
The best thing is that he’s never been adapted in a DC comic, so they actually really just checked out the Lesser Key of Solomon for demonology research. For a show like this...that’s pretty damn rad.

This was a decent episode imo .. definitely their riff on movies such as Animal House / Old School , I honestly enjoyed it more then I thought I would considering those movies aren’t really my thing. I enjoyed Astra’s arc of meshing more with the Legends and in turn , them accepting her more as who she is ...intrigued to see how her debt to Lachesis bites her in the ass. Mick’s storyline with his daughter has been a highlight of this season for me ..I am liking their continuing bonding . Also , making Dionysus the ultimate frat boy was a clever idea haha.
Zari didn't drink because she is Islamic and the writers are paying attention to detail. But it could help in the next episode knowing the Legends writers.
