- From 10-1 me and my girlfriend Hannah rank our top 10 DC couples. DC is known for bringing romance into their stories but tend to only focus on the main characters when doing so. There is so much option, even couples we didn't mention in our lists.

I love Batman and WW together, but HEAR ME OUT...The Question and Huntress! Their chemistry is insane! They're so cute together and their flirty banter is so genuine. They also really care about each other. My favorite moment is when he revealed his face to her and said that he was the ugliest man alive - and she said "Not to me". It was precious! Justice League Unlimited gave me everything I needed to support them 😭🔥

I agree but it's not his best ship for one important reason : Wonder Woman has basically no place in the Batman universe. Most Batman stories could not have happened if she was a part of it, because she's simply on another level.
Now this might be going too far but I honestly think this ship is for straight people who don't dare shipping Batman with Superman
Anyways Batman's one true love will always be Catwoman to me. I really like that she goes from flirting to manipulate him, to flirting because she actually likes him
@@MILOPETITOn your first point, I think Batman should have two books. He already does, with Batman vs Detective Comics, but I think Detective Comics is more of an anthology nowadays if I’m not wrong.
I think, the Batman comic line should be Gotham based, and a new comic line, maybe Batman Eternal as a return, or Batman Incorporated again, to satisfy the people that want Batman fighting global threats in space n shit, and that can have Wonder Woman fit better
@@thesausageman5388 Yeah Batman is written wayy different when he's with the league. That's when we get the "can beat anyone with prep time" kind of power scaling that he just doesn't need at home, where most of his villains are just crazy people.
Then since he's basically a different Batman, he works well with Wonder Woman. To reconciliate his two sides, maybe he could be part time lovers with her. I'm sure Catwoman wouldn't mind
One of my personal favorite couples in DC that may be a pick out of left field that I was surprised that wasn’t discussed is John Constantine and Zatanna. They just seem like two people that have gone through a lot but have, somehow, found each other.
I love Zatanna and John Constantine always seemed cool, so I think this couple is pretty great.

I would say Raven and Damien Wayne Robin from the justice league. War universe of movies is one of my favorite couples in DC comics. I feel like they both complement each other well I’m on other things.
I like Superman having a human love interest. Him and Spider-Man are the only heroes I prefer that for. I think a human love interest grounds Superman.
Next one could be top 10 best couple or group of friends on DC. Example: Booster Gold and Blue Beetle (Ted Kord).

Joker is exactly what Harley needed.
She's psychopath even when she leaves him, in the animated series she still murders people when shes with Ivy.
But then she cant blame it on anyone. When shes with Joker she can use stocholm syndrome or gaslighting or trauma as a veil for her own murderous tendencies.
She wants excitment, breaking rules and violence, but if she just goes around doing it, well thats bad. So she needs to justify it to others but more importantly justify it to herself.
Most adaptation dont get that.
Wait, didn't Joker cause her to go crazy? She was a psychiatrist at arkham, and Joker manipulated her, and she got stuck on the thrill of being around him, right? So, if she had never met Joker, she wouldn't have been a criminal, and she would still be a practicing doctor. So she didn't need Joker. She should have never met Joker.

A great example for what a good DC relationship should not be, in the best way, and adds a lot to both characters.
9. Raven and Beast Boy
Teenage romance.
8. Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris
I like it when romance in a story helps characters overcome so.ething, like in this case with Carol becoming good again.
7. Question and Huntress
Doesn't add too much to their characters, but you can't tell me they aren't cute together.
6.Mr Freeze and Nora
Not much is shown of their real relationship, but I love how their love was so strong it drove Mr Freeze into making so many sacrifices just for her to live, it's really touching.
5. Superman and Chloe Lane (if you don't know her, she's Lois Lane's cousin in the Smallville show)
She's still a Civilian and that still comes into play, but she's full of fun and slinky personality and is very smart, leading her to be a very useful ally to Clark, much more so than people like Lois or Lana who just need him to save them all the time. Chloe has shown she has Skills in hacking, detective work, and sometimes manipulation, allowing her to help Superman in ways even the Man of Steel can't. Plus, their personalities are just he best when paired up.
4. Green Arrow and Black Canary
A true power couple.
3. Red Hood and Artemis
Not sure if it's technically confirmed but anyone who reads the comics can see the tension and the chemistry. They are an adorable couple who is also a total power couple and they both add to their characters. I like having two trauma-hardened fighters like them learning how to soften up for each other.
2. John Constantine and Zatanna
Do I need to say more? No, I don't think I do.
1.Batman and Catwoman
The best. Sorry to WonderBat fans, but Cats is the perfect fit here. I think the Hush comic and Arkham series did it best, where their dynamic is around trust and exploring how both desire each other, but neither can easily change for the other, trapping them. It shows how they'd like to be together, but Batman cannot change for Catwoman, and cannot trust her as much as he'd like to because that's just who he iis, and it hurts Selina. But I like seeing how Selina changes for Batman, trying to be more heroic and to do good things with and for Batman, and I think the dynamic has added a lot to their character, even if it's an endless stalemate.
Would you ever start taking commissions for submitted ideas for DC stories. Kind of like the “What if Kal-el landed on Oa”?
That's actually a great idea, considering those types of videos take a lot of work to make. I could set up an option for that on my linktree, that way I could get more details on the video type and things that should be involved.

Me: You know Batman and Catwoman is a very good couple, it shows that Batman helps Selina because he sees her as the most redeemable of his villains since she doesn't have big plans for Gotham, doesn't kill anyone and has a sort of honor code and then she proves to him that she can be trusted and they fall in love with each other.
Even Guy Gardner and Ice are a good couple, the womanizing jerk and the sweet girl that is able to slowly change him by making him a better man, sweet stuff.

P.S. Joker and Harley are very bad for each other but that's the point, it's a cautionary tale.
And beside Poison Ivy isn't better, beside the fact that putting them together never made any sense for both the characters Poison Ivy had no problem in the comics belittling Harley continuosly for her stupidity, sacrifice her and the entire humanity to an alien plant life form or simply trying to strangle her multiple times

To add to the WonderBat love, is that it would make sense as like a finale to a Batman story. He goes through some rough crap, and it leads to an injury that he has to deal with and it puts into focus how he really is Batman. She comes in and brings out the Bruce Wayne in him and basically tells him. "You have a lot of stuff to deal with mentally. Lets deal with it together." A mentally right Batman, who becomes stronger mentally, with Wonder Woman at his side, pushing him to be the best he can be resulting in not only Batman possibly stepping down, but having another kid, and realising he really is a Dad to many kids now.
In the smallville show Clark used his powers to stare at Lana in the changing room
Hal Jordan being my favorite character, I’ve always loved him and Carol. Personally I think Selina and Bruce and of course Ollie and Dinah are DC’s best couples, but I do have a love for Zatanna and Constantine.

Yes I rather have them aged up but I really don't undestand why people would put them together at all They never had any chemistry in comics and don't really have a relationship and in the animated series Barbara acts more like a mother given Tim is like 12-13 years old and Barbara is 19. It is kinda gross to me not as much as Bruce and Barbara though I hope we can agree on that one being an awful ship that shouldn't exist.

I can understand your distaste for Lois and Superman as a couple, since many versions of them can feel a bit onesided. However, I'd recommend My Adventures with Superman for a more fun and mutual take on their relationship, plus its generally a really good show.

I have to disagree with that. The very one sided relationship with Batman is only because Batman doesn't let anyone in. Even relationships Batman has is one sided because he strings woman along and doesn't often commit. I believe Wonder Woman would be the character to get in and change his mentality. Their relationship also benefits from being friends first and lovers next. It's not lustful like it is with Catwoman or Talia.
