Moebius Cast On with Knit and Purl Stitches in First Round

Thanks for the tutorial. My pattern is a K3 P3 K3 P3, and so on, for 3 rows, then P3 K3 P3 K3 etc. for 3 rows, alternating. When I finished my first row, I was expecting to see 3 K stitches, but they looked like pearl. Not sure if I'm doing it right.
