For everyone, the mod I'm using is an overkill approved hud overlay, which is called HoxHud. It gives you more info on the hud, which doesn't break the gameplay, gets rid of the hold f to interact, instead you have a cancel button. To use the mod you have to subscribe to the steam group and follow their installation guide. steamcommunity.com/groups/HoxHud
Imo if your trying to get this achievement it is much easier solo, I tried it with my mates and it was a fucking nightmare. Then managed to pull it off solo
haha, well i see your point, because 4 persons are easier to get caught, but i did it with 1 friend and finished it first try, while solo took me at least 10 attempts
I fucked it halfway through when I tried it solo, but I still had a high enough dodge that I could just coast through the last few minutes loud without taking a shot. Still got the achievement for it too.
Did you know, there’s a parking ticket machine that can be interacted and you can get a secret achievement (also the dialogue for Bain holds references of Hoxton breakout)
I didn’t realize solo gave you so much less loot than loud in this heist. In loud you break open like 4 vaults at once so there’s so much more loot to carry.
I only managed to get this done once on death sentence, it’s agonizing. Especially when you already bagged everything and trying to leave with the crowd, payday put tons of security guard near the exit, how does that make any sense? Got caught when I was couple meters away from the exit, the van left, cops showed up in ten seconds, downed immediately. All that hard work went down the drain.
Does the guard in the pyrotechnic booth only pass by the back of the turntable? I noticed you put the hostage in front of it. I tried putting him in a corner but his head was still somewhat exposed and the guard saw him.
Sciomancer the guard in the booth should have a fixed routine, which makes it easy to see where you can put the hostage, i just don't remember if its the same routine each time
Been doing this heist a few times in a row now, and I notice the guard never really enters the booth where the console is in, so you can just safely pacify and tie up the civ in charge of pyro.
@@Ulqui_210i've been playing this heist for entire day and can confirm that the guard comes through DJ room pretty religiously and gets behind the DJ setup. This heist is simply too fucky and literally backstabs you in everything.
@@mikj6 Curious. Need to test this myself soon. Because back when I did the heist whether its in singleplayer or public lobbies, he only patrols the hallways surrounding the DJ booth
@@Ulqui_210 it feels like the guards can somehow change the routes to get the player in a trap. I have had today a couple of situations, where the guards were literally hunting me in my hiding places. P.S: I was inside the DJ room when the guard walked in. I'm sure, that when you activate the hack, he gets a task to patrol only the first half of the rooms, but after the ending of the "show" the guard gets the full route. In my case, before the hack he visits every room, except DJ's.

cody gadbaw just play the harder ones and you will learn only thing is to have a good build but this depends on how you are playing so i cant say what's the best

I know I’m 2 years late but if you are still playing payday2 I recommend you upgrade to wolfhud it’s a lot better then hoxhud and if you didn’t know hoxhud causes crashed wolfhud doesn’t

I think I know the drill :D As I noticed you cannot intimidate more than one guard at the same time (alone at least) and I think if they get noticed then you have short amount of time (2-3 sec) to intimidate them, after that they don't react to shouting on them :D I almost have done it today, but right before moment with unmasking second guard noticed me and there was my mistake. Everybody got noticed, cause he shot me, but I placed ECM and killed him and went to unmask. I didn't know that if you go for unmask, you are no longer noticed by anyone. I just went for escape and done heist stealthie, but without sound of silence, cause of killed that guard :( If you want you can add me, //Hakej on steam, but I think I'll try to do this alone ;D

yes but its still pretty bad crashes etc, i would recommend WolfHud Daily Updates etc and close to the same as hoxhud

Use WolfHUD, it's better than HoxHUD and it's complete compared to HoxHUD which has unecessary garbage tossed in.

If you bring silent saw as a primary, you eliminate some pick-time, but if they are early close they will still hear.
Yeah the saw is still pretty risky, i remember i maxed everything able to lockpick as fast as possible, but i like your suggestion

This achievement was a pain to do solo but the mask for it is my favorite mask so it was worth it.
Fun fact: you can still get the achievement on loud as long as you still don’t kill anyone. This was how I did it.

Its all rng bullcrap sadly. I got lucky a few times where the path near the cyllindrical ticket booth is clear of guards which makes it easier
