      We need more considerate people like the van driver.
      I'm happy to see Pin is so calm and doesn't interfere, my instructor was very assertive.
      It turned me to drive well, but Indians do not respond well to assertiveness... obviously being a guy in his 30's is beyond anxiety... so I took the context, not the anxiety.

    I did Reverse Bay Parking on my test. Fun fact; you are able to secure the car once parked, inform your instructor that you are not finished with your manoeuvre, get out of the car and check you are in the lines. then get back in the car and tell the instructor you are finished. This is completely allowed. I had heard of this before doing my test and wanted to be 100% sure this wouldn't fail me.

    bless! I feel like 8 serious sounds like a lot but she did well on a lot of parts, just nerves and silly mistakes which we've all made! with a little reflection and calming herself, she will be a great driver. unlike others, I don't think you were too harsh with faults as a lot of examiners would take the same stance as you and its better to warn her of that. you just don't know who you'll get on the day. keep working hard Maddy & you will pass before you know it.

    I failed my test on Tuesday as I was 'speeding' I was doing 25-30 mph on country lanes as the weather was very bad, a lot of mud and flooded in some parts then I slowed to 5-10 mph to go through them. Driving Anything 10mph under the legal road limit is very dangerous especially as country lanes are mostly 50-60 mph roads and single lanes , I get your trying to be safe but slow drivers are the most dangerous type of drivers and are most likely to cause/get into an accidents. • @PabitraPadhy
      @PabitraPadhy 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Not really tbh... although avoid doing that, but if you couldn't manage to stop before the advance stopping line and it's okay.
      Again, the kind of speed she was in she had to brake harshly to stop which was more unsafe, if there were a vehicle behind, it would have hit for sure.
      Anticipatory drive would be much better, do not jump red light, but if you feel it's harsh to stop, cross the orange.

    Hi bro
    Are you available on Monday i need to take mock test with u

  • @AllenTsuna
    @AllenTsuna 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The first one may indeed have been harsh but remember people, the test isn't to assess whether or not you are able to drive a car, it's to assess whether you can do so safely. Anything that could be even just marginally dangerous or impactful (in a negative way) from your action as a driver will get you a fault, regardless of serious or minor. In such a situation where you are unsure during your test, it's better to stick to the left and just give way to the learner imo. That way you avoid the "hazard" to begin with. But then again.. if you misjudge the distance between yourself and the oncoming traffic and end up slowing down when you could have gone, that could perhaps be counted as hesitation? Not too sure about that.
    However, if I had to choose between safely slowing down traffic behind me by braking gently and ahead of time to give way to both, the learner and the oncoming traffic in this situation, or trying to wedge my way in and potentially slowing down oncoming traffic when there are no signs or markings stating that I have priority, I don't think it's rocket science to decide which one is better of the two choices.
    Ignoring the fact that she indeed may have had enough space and time to pass safely, the other fact is that she at the same time overtook a learner driver. While that might be harmless as they definitely had an instructor with them, being wedged between an oncoming car that had to slow down a little for me, and another learner sure isn't the greatest of feelings in terms of safety.
    At the end of the day, harsh or not, the final say is with the examiner.

    A very serious mistake many instructors do is: constantly chatting with their students during the lesson/mock test. That's very distracting. Basically, that's waste of teaching time. I believe most young drivers need at least 2-3 months of driving independently AFTER they've passed their test before they can start multitasking /chatting while driving/.

      I'm an Indian and I know what you are saying.
      We are not rule following drivers, but people with excellent sense of road and hazard, because most drivers don' t follow them.
      But then riders and drivers are very perceptive of scenarios.
      My suggestion, even if you are a A grade ADI here in the UK, don't drive in India. It's just not suitable for peple from western world.
      If India plays rule rule.. 1.5 billions won't get their things done, and none of us will reach anywhere.
      It's a cosmic chaos, and we have mastered it. It's not for everyone though.
