I just got myself a 2cv and I apreciate your video for showing me how relativly simple the instalation of the 123 Ignition is and that I can do it myself.
Wow I almost forgot about this old comment. In the end I kept the stock ignition system. The 2cv is still going strong and looks much better than it did 7 years ago when i got it. almost all rust has been removed. new oppolstry and much more.
Since 2CV has good fuel economy as a default, I haven't followed it before and after the installation. Now, three years after installation there weren't need to think or touch to the ignition system, so it's very carefree.
In this case engine type is M28/1 so the setting in EVO 123 should be mode 8. You can check from the manual which will work in your engine: www.123ignition.nl/pdf/2cv_manual.pdf
