andres drew this video is pretty much an exhaustive list, but the remainder is based on personal strengths/ situational judgement questions. But the most important is the “Why do you want to join EY” question.. make sure you prepare a solid few paragraphs for this question!

What do you think about getting too bogged down in details as a weakness. I was going to position that it is often important to remind myself of the big picture but I wonder if that has no relevance to the tax position I am applying for?

@@nicholasgabbour1196 not great! Turns out they basically only want to hire people who are already doing the job. 🤔 Also surprisingly the pay rate on offer seemed significantly below the market level here. At least from what I've seen and experienced. C'est la vie.

Look up interview questions for software developer roles at EY (glassdoor is very good for this). Make a list and ensure you know the answers to previous questions as a start.

    • @johnlandis6638

Shanesse Avery I just had my interview the other day with EY for an internship during next winter. Some advice, be prepared to answer these questions in an interview with a partner. Why Accounting? Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years? (tip- this is the time to express your interest in the firm and mention something specific about the firm). Tell me about something that’s not on your resume (this can be anything that you have a genuine interest in, I used basketball and being on the club tennis travel team as an example). Ask good and specific questions about the firm, also ask questions about themselves and their experiences. For the Senior manager interview, it will be more behavioral based. Have some stories and experiences prepared but do not memorize them because you want to come off as genuine and not a robot. Using the STAR method is helpful here. They are really just trying to get to know you and want to see if you can hold a conversation. They know you are qualified, this is your chance to prove even further that you are qualified. Hopefully this helps! Good luck!

Who needs a wife and a baby or two in 2019 America? That's so 1950ish. If one has the dough, an upper-class Escort Service will satisfy the needs of any up and rising male (don't excuse the pun) or a mature male seeking young, beautiful, female companionship. No problem switching partners and the "Me Too Movement" is never an afterthought. For the good young girls out there, go bi with the occasional male fling but have a gf with benefits. It's a better deal in the long run. If anybody is wondering what the hell this has to do with Ernst and Young, the company has just issued a guideline for their female employees. We will just say the feminists are going nuts over it. This cat says "Deal with it!".
