When we drive 1 hour away we are taking a risk getting a trip back. In this case I got a perfect trip but was forced to cancel. Share your thoughts on similar trip?
What up boss !!!! Dude i went to sfo . It was packed. Drove up to the city it was too wild for me. So much traffic. Found a ride to san mateo got outta there on my 2nd ride lol
Thanks for sharing.. best to cancel.. dont put the customer at risk. Bigger range on the way. Eaking way back w/ door dash n others is another way. Also flex to eventually get there... may take time.
If I had an EV I would’ve been tempted to go for it and just drive slow the whole time to increase range but I would have bad anxiety the whole time lol
I was showing a range of 80 miles and the trip was 70 miles and it was too close a gap. If I had 90 miles range I would have taken it. It was definitely a great offer especially since it was taking me to SFO.

Sup Randy, I'm trying to hustle. Sometimes when SF is crazy with traffic I would try to work outside the city like San Jose, Palo alto also
I have Prius and get 600 miles range and it takes less than 2 minutes to refuel.

I made it to sfo after taking a few shorter trips. But those trips. Definitely more prudent to cancel with such a shorter ev range.

take the trip. call and ask rider if they can wait at the super charger for seven minutes
Never start you're day without full tank of gas or electric...
Most of the time I’m at 85% when I start as I typically charge at the end of the day.
