Before Mickey's Toontown Fair closed in February 2011 at the Magic Kingdom, guests were able to visit Mickey Mouse's house and Donald Duck's boat.

they are replacing the toontown and turning it into fantasy land.. i had so many good memories there when i was a kid.. it will be missed.
These are part of Disney world history! I couldn't care less about storybook circus! I want these back! :(
This was part of my childhood and I went back recently to find out it was gone thank you so much WDW for destroying part of my childhood I am sad now I remember taking the train here the steam train every tine I came with my family. WDW is just not the same anymore I miss the old WDW someone bring it back please.😭

Toon Town (the original) is still around in Disneyland. But yeah knowing that Disney World's is gone makes me sad :(

I wished they'd kept it, I got upset when I found out that they destroyed this to make fantasyland bigger, in fact I'm wanting to cry now because I wish it was still there, I kinda like the new fantasyland but knowing that they had to destroy toontown fair to do it makes me want to cry

+Nick Greenen actually, the toon town in California has been there since the 80s, which was a separate and different experience from the one in Florida
What will happen to all the props and clothing and material in the houses and attractions?
Scrapped?thrown?trashed? Cause if it is that's stupid since it cost so much to make that leather and materials
+Joshikoy A lot of them (at least from Mickey's house) are props at the new Meet Mickey Backstage section at the Main Street Theater.

The fair 'came to town', why couldn't the circus? Farewell, Mickey's house. I'll treasure the vhs of being three years old and trying to sneak under the rope to watch The Wonderful World of Disney on your tv.
Lol when I saw the saw and the red liquid on mickey's table I was like "wtf Disney?!" But then the can of paint came into view u was like "nvm then :3"

It was all started by a MOUSE. They must have been heavily drugged when they decided to rip out Mickey and Minnie's houses. They have so much room in the Magic Kingdom to build, there is a lot of room behind Fantasyland, they could've built backwards instead of taking out these classic walk-through attractions that brought so much joy to people of all ages.
They should instead build a true-to-scale, 900,00 sq. ft. mansion for them, because that's where they REALLY live in my stories. It's called the House of Mouse. It even has guest bedrooms.
The hands were creepy, I always thought that his hands were gloves so the fact that he would replace his hands everyday creeps me out.

It's bittersweet that this is gone.. yeah. it's a part of history but I'm not that sad about it going. It gives Magic Kingdom a separate identity from Disneyland. Though meeting the fab 5 all at once in the magic kingdom is a bit tricky now [there's only one place to meet mickey] I think with the expansion of Fantasyland and Storybook Circus, It's giving the magic kingdom it's own identity.
Why would they take these down!?!?!?! :( Now I'll never get to see Mickey's house :(

TOON TOWN was much better it was our favourite where we knew we could always see Mickey Goofy Pluto Minnie.
Mickey had a whole town, now he has one back stage room. Where if you are lucky you get to see Mickey for about 2 minutes long enough to take a photo and that's it. Mickey and the gang are what we went for not all this new stuff.

I wish they would have auctioned off the belongings in the house and donated the money to Give Kids the World or something...I may not have been able to buy anything but the money would have gone to a good cause.
