Wow, that is awesome. I have an USB adapter that goes onto Dewalt batteries, so I would bring my 5ah battery with me to power those lights. Also this roof top camper is giving me some other ideas that it is not really designed for, but for exactly what i want to build
Not having a solid floor is a no sale for me. Reminds me of a hide-a-bed couch, where you can feel the bars.

Thanks - love the size but concerned about no solid floor, no anti-condensation mat, and living int he PNW I'll need research it's waterproofing material and zippers.

I cannot see this being worth what they’re asking for it to NOT have a solid floor in it. That’s outrageous.
No solid floor may be an issue. Will see after you use it if good. Does have YKK zippers.

What tent setup would you recommend for a gx460?
I really like this one out of all the others. Have you by chance thought about doing truck bed tents? I know they make air mattresses that are cut out to the truck bed.
I’ve seen them before. Think they would make a great video. I don’t speak for everyone but I’d say it’s easier to get out of the truck bed to use the bathroom n the middle of the night versus having to worry bout climbing down a ladder with one eye half way opened 😆

I have almost the same tent Freespirit recreation (fsr odyssey)and I love it it’s so spacious (I’m 6’4)and it’s held up great in wind snow and extremely heavy rain. One nice thing is the fsr is triple layer insulated.
I really would like the 1st one you got but my bed is only 5ft and it would have to hang off the back of the roof rack. I’m not going to block being able to take my Gladiator top off. So not sure I can use that 1 or not. We love having the top off in the summer
It would be nice to get a review of the mattress...even just a one night review would be helpful. My inspired overland rtt is horrible even for one night.
Is weird that the floor isn’t solid? Can you feel all the support braces through the mattress?
there are two layer of mattress, bottom layer is more solid, upper layer is soft and comfortable, you can feel like you sleeping in the bed~
I was gonna say the same thing. Only complaint is there not being a solid floor, even the thinnest piece of aluminum could prevent something from the bed of the truck puncturing the “waterproof floor liner” layer from underneath.
I the identical tent from a different company and the floor had been no issue and all no leaks or mold

Looks like the mattress is an optical illusion seeing as that is the floor as well as the padding. Curious as to the actual comfort sleeping on it.
What is the closed size of this? It will fit on a short bed Tacoma? I have a mid height rack so I can't have one that hangs over the cab or off the back. I'm trying to find one that will work with my Sherpa mid height pack system

Have you tested that Halcory diesel heater back there? I keep getting an overheating code when i try and run it on full heat.

I don't think they're necessary unless it's really windy, but it's always good to have some extra protection

That Reyes metal or the way it looks is called embossed just like what you see on big freezer and refrigerator units.
Nice option considering the style; I’ve only ever seen one other similar style from Alltop USA, that so far only saw it in another video at an outdoor exhibition event. ✌🏼

I’m curious to how you would bring you diesel heat tube or AC tube in the tent.
You just zip the hose into the window, like sandwich the hose between the two zippers. Works great!
No solid floor is mostly the reason this is a no for me. I slept on a futon enough back in college. I think I'll be going with the top oak as soon as they are back in stock. As always, it's a great review.

there are some promotion these days, the price is quite competitive during the promotion time, so the discount is limited at present~ but comes with nice quality with nice price.
