Ben Vrackie Loop, Pitlochry

- This loop walk takes in Ben Vrackie at Pitlochry. Starting at Moulin car park the well established track heads straight for the summit. Low temperatures, ice and powder snow made the conditions enjoyable especially with blue skies and light winds.
Heading northwest from the summit we made our way back towards the A9 before picking up the Dunmore Trail track back to the car. A wee cracker of a day.

Hi Frank, Happy new year to you and all the best for 2023. Not quite the day that was planned but a cracker just the same. We had hoped for some firm snow on the top but had to make do with the powder. I suspect the snow will get a shift this week with the mild weather moving in but fingers crossed the cold snap is back soon. Cheers, Charlie

Almost chose Vrackie yesterday but decided last min to stay at sea level for a walk. Great video again (I watched your Slioch day yesterday in lieu of getting onto a hill).

Beautiful scenes Charlie. I was up Benarty from Vane Farm earlier looking north to Beinn a Ghlo, clear as the day from there. It looked so close in the clear air 👌

Hi Charlie, happy new year to you and Mike, another good video, The Mountains look magical with the snow cover, I hope to visit the Blair Atholl area as soon as the opportunity arrives, I really enjoyed Glen Tilt, These video's keep my mind focused on what Scotland has to offer, Is it the Mamores on the opposite side of Glen Nevis, I still have the 2 peaks to the east to do, That mountain with all the quartz on is amazing just like snow, Keep up the super video's.
