If the docking gizmo had an anti-theft lock it might be worth investing in. It's just too easy for someone to run up and pinch your bag. And unless the cup holder is adjustable to make it level, you can't use it for beer glasses. They didn't think that through, did they? 🤦You're better off getting a strap that's designed to prevent it being cut and putting the bag across your front.

I hear what you are saying, but as I said they are a luxury item. I did research the company before I started working with them. It’s owned by a lady similar to myself who has worked extremely hard to bring her vision to life. 🤗
They are expensive but I suppose it is a small company. You do pay more when shop small.
For the quality, design, and the fact that it's a small business I think they're priced pretty well, personally. I realize it's expensive to many people, but I'm surprised they aren't charging more.

Eeek! I've just ordered the Classic Ffora Set, in black with nickle details. I remember discovering their page last year when they were unable to ship to the UK and I fell in love with the designs as although they're made for wheelchairs, they don't look 'medical' and are actually fashionable! 🙌 Which is something that I rarely find👏 So I'm very excited to finally be able to own one! 🙌💕
If I were in a wheelchair I’d DEFINITELY get he pink bag. It looks GEORGIOUS. I also quite like the gold cup set.

I originally found your channel because I was looking for the perfect wheelchair friendly bag. My first video was with the little backpack. I would love to sew something that people would like and I’m learning how to sew with leather. But these are awesome! I don’t think I could top them!
Did you get to making anything yet? That would be cool if you could sew something specifically for wheelchair users. A backpack seems awkward to me and it throughs the center of gravity off. I am interested in buying something that goes under the seat. But none of them are large enough. Something like Velcro or large snapes to hold it on and a safety strap just in case it falls off and for easy access.
As an artist that uses sharp tools, I want a tool bag that won't damage the sharps, something that will be handy to grab when working on my art. Backpacks are hard to reach.
Ooh, these would be perfect for my walker...but cost as much as the walker. LOL

I am a regular wheelchair user. Hold my drink in my hand, even a takeaway one. Just make sure they do not fill the drink to the top.
The cup of tea made me think that a ship's gymbal might work. The type used to keep oil lamps level back in the day. An interesting idea...

Make it happen! Make it affordable and we'll all buy them. I hate overpriced stuff like this. I don't blame Gem, but the owner of the company should consider that most Disabled people have less money than non-disabled people, as we are less likely to be able to work. Exploiting your own community is NOT COOL. 🤦😤
That's fun, I did not know this was a thing 😶 I always DIY my accessibility hacks, because companies that design disability friendly accessories are expensive!! for my bag I either use a small clutch from moleskine (it is a hard "cover" meant for your phone) or a bum bag secured behind my legs.
For water bottles, a regular water bottle holder that you would use on a bike will work 😊
They do overcharge us - because they know we're a niche market. We can thwart them by hacking existing equipment. 👍
@@ChrisPage68 Yes, they are super rip-off artists. I like these bag and bottle holders, but they are certainly something to give or get as a gift. It's something I would not likely ever buy for myself. My wheelchair guy told me that most people use "fanny packs" under their front seats. They are certainly a lot more affordable.
Interesting concept. But for most of us it just to much and limiting. I use two bicycle water bottle holders on each downtube. 5 bucks each. So water bottles and coffee tumblers, etc, will fit perfectly. But looks perfect for those that need a sleeker clean look.
Thanks so much for sharing. These look great, and I was excited to see that they actually do a bracket for the Whill CI! The Whill CI doesn't have a typically cylindrical frame, so I was stumped on where I'd get a cupholder. I was starting to think I'd have to use zip ties, but this is so much classier.
These look so good! I'd probably need a bigger bag on the back of my chair, but this would be great to put the things I most need to be hand in. I use crutches in the house, so the strap would be so helpful for carrying my phone and things from room to room. And the cup holder is a great idea too. Definitely think I'll have to look into getting some of these!

I have been looking for a cupholder designed for wheelchair users. This is great. A matte silver design would be great for when it inevitably gets scratched. I will definitely be buying this product.
A insert that has a bottom to it would be good for smaller drinks too.

happy you found something that you can make work on your apecial chair im in a normal chair it doesn't fit many i have tried
After trying many cupholders and not getting on with any of them (for various reasons) I recently bought a Ffora cupholder and it is honestly 100x better than any of the cheaper versions I tried. Yes, they are expensive but I will no longer be buying a new one every couple of months. For me, the best thing is being able to easily remove the cupholder from the attachment dock when I'm not using it so that it isn't catching on doorframes/plants and getting in the way (or broken) when getting the chair in/out of the car.
P.S. if anyone else has a chair not listed on the website if you email them they will help you find the right attachment for your chair their customer services were really helpful.

I was wondering if you can comfortably tuck the clamp and bag under the seat of the chair to keep the chair slim! I wonder if it could clamp onto the tubing that’s parallel to the ground too! I like this for safety reasons too :) thinking of getting one for my local Pride festival in October!
The bag looks great. Cup holder wise though I have a normal bike cup holder that I attached with zip ties.

A problem with canes and walkers is that you can’t hold a cup and something else like your phone. One idea would be a bike cup holder that you put on your cane but that would be really awkward to use. BUT with this you could attach the mount and then add the cup holder when you need it or put it in your bag when you don’t!
AND I use an electric scooter to travel places so I could get two mounts and just move my cup from my cane to my scooter! Birthday plans!

That bag would be great for Disney!!! You could use that strap to make it into a bum bag too! I have an under chair bag but find it a bit tricky to get my legs out of the way. And the cupholder...
Do you worry about people stealing the bag when it’s on the mount as even though it’s on the front there is no lock on it unlike the quokka bags and kinetic balance bags?
I haven’t seen the bag you are referring to, but these “dock” in place so are very secure.

Just ordered the clamp, cup holder, and an active bag while finishing up listening to the video. I went for the nickel clamp, black cup holder, and a black and nickel active bag. This is the first system I've seen where I like both the attachment system and the style of the accessories. Yes, the essentials bags are a touch pricey, but they're leather. They would always be a spurge. The active bags and the rest of the system I feel is pretty reasonable.

@@abbycockrell3229 I still use them on an almost daily basis. The only downside I’ve found is you need to make sure to carry an allen key if you’re taking the clamp off when flying with your chair. Pretty much all standard tumblers and coffee cups fit in the cup holder. So anything without a handle and is slanted. The main things that won’t work are cups with handles and thin water bottles.

You forgot to say it costs £195 for what you’ve got (that’s if you get the bundle, individually they cost even more).
So it’s definitely a luxury item.
Other companies make similar products that offer more for less cost.

For the bag that looks sporty is it like some sort of plastic. Do you think it could be wiped down with a damp rag if it get a bit dirty

Just ordered the cupholder and tumbler! ^^ I had to wait for a response for several months (the active bag got sold out 🥲), so I recommend writing them on Instagram instead of an email first, but with a small fee they'll deliver to the Czech Republic as well, so it's worth asking if you're from the outside of the UK or USA! 🙈 ( Well, I'm hoping it'll arrive safely, but hopefully it will haha)

I was excited about this because I do need a cup holder. But once you have the 3 things you need to make it work right, plus the shipping, It’s just way, way too expensive for just needing something to hold a cup. I really do need a good cup holder that is going to work though, there’s just no way I can afford this one.
I got a cheap bicycle cup holder off amazon that works fine attached to my crutches, so something like that would probably work for a wheelchair too, doesn't look look as snazzy but does the job just fine.
Can you do a wheelchair challenge with your family in your next video? They can do basic daily life task but with a wheelchair? That would be awesome!!!
Looks great. I’m just concerned that it could be easily stolen. I’d love a bag I can just drop things into easily so that I don’t drop my car keys into the driveway for instance. Have you come across anything that might meet that need?
An ordinary deep shoulder bag (I use a powerchair).
I would be concerned that someone would steal the bag as even if it’s secured with a strong magnet it’s very easy for them to grab in a busy environment or by distracting you. Additionally as a powerchair user with raisable leg rests I don’t think the product would work for my chair. Again as others have said the cost is prohibitive to many users even as a luxury product.

Something like that would, depending on doorway. You would have to take it off when going through.

Seriously £199 for the whole system, I think they are overcharging for the products because they know they have very little competition. They are a great idea and would make life so much easier but even with your 10% discount it’s just too expensive.
