Chevrolet Truck Door Panel Removal

Here is how to remove the door panel of a Chevrolet truck. To remove the door panel on a Chevrolet truck you need to unplug all of the electrical connectors and remove a few trim pieces. Once the door panel is removed, speaker installation is easy. This video shows you how to remove the door panel on a Chevrolet truck. The truck in this video is a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado.

I found it UN-necessary to remove the several ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS / Wiring Harnesses from the DOOR LOCK & WINDOW BUTTONS
instead I just pried the two black clips out of the VALANCE Cover
&
Yes the the BIG Rectangular BLACK Control Module will fit through the OPENING / HOLE
&
Thanks for the NOTE on the Door Light --- my BULB had been burned out the DECADES that I have owned the TRUCK :-) LOL

nice video...I wish you could have gone into even further detail as to how to remove the connectors...I just didn't see what I needed to see to do it correctly...ended up busting off part of the power lock connector unfortuantely

Worked great but don't miss lining up the plastic post just in front of the door latch. I broke one tab removing the panel and one more replacing it due to missing that door latch post part. Also, go see the video on how to remove the window crank if you don't have power windows. But all in all, this is a great video. And now I can open the door from inside after replacing the door handle. Thank you.

You’re welcome. I’m glad you were able to do it without too much trouble. I just made a video about how to replace the back speakers on my Chevrolet truck. That is a much harder job, so I just decided to cut holes in front of the speakers and put grills over the new speakers.

Them damn things are are agervating it’s easy to change the handle it’s just the door trim piece. I watched another video a guy said to put a bend in the rod that goes to the door opener that would help the Handel get more leverage to open the door. I think it was the danninator

my door panel is sagging and flapping out, lower tab pins missing, hard to close door so fassen in place with duct tape. I think you just showed me how to fix the problem thx cmc
