It was 1000% spur of the moment haha but I bought a bag of various sized bottle corks from JoAnnes a while back and that was definitely worth the purchase to have them handy for things like this!

Hilarious inner monologue at 3:40 and 4:55. Also, nice to see someone else enjoying cheese scrabbled in their eggs. If you wanna kick it up a notch, caramelize a handful of sweet yellow onion, and bacon (chopped), and a half clove of garlic (minced) with a dash of tabasco. Then, beat a pinch of black pepper, sea salt, and dill with the egg and cheese, before scrambling with the onion, bacon and garlic in the pan. Turkey bacon, ham, or fakeon also works. Warning, if you make a large cast-iron pan of this around a campfire, it will summon a horde. Thanks for the entertaining video.

I'm clever* enough to have my larp kit and my camping kit in two different cities so my mad rush is packing up one house travelling to another city (about 1hr and 30) packing up that house and then driving 4 hours to my larp xD
Worth it though!

Larpers act like they've never been camping before 😂 I sleep on the floor all the time, it's not that bad.
socks, socks, socks, even more socks, and about 50 sweaters because my body can't regulate temperature properly and I'm in Canada. In summer, only about 2 sweaters, just as many socks, and water. lots of water.

I find long gowns and masks (Such as a plague doctor costume) work well when NPCing or playing multiple characters. Simply take off the gown and mask, and BOOM! Second outfit concealed underneath. Makes character changes easy.

I never thought about taking a cot! Normally I take a hammock because I hate camp beds that hurt my back and also so I can hang my magical gtfo barrier known as the bug net so I don't have to hear another mosquito in my ear ever again. I also never leave without ibuprofen and feminine hygiene products because even if I don't get a headache or experience mother nature's ambush, someone else might.
I loooove this video and I watch it time and time again. I love the excitement of packing for something exciting if that makes sense hahah

I always end up having a crap meal before LARP...then again that might be due to the 6 hour drive. Least my caffeine sustains me all night!
I make a list and pack 48hrs ahead of when the game is coming up. I also I made a playlist just for Larp.

Would you consider doing a makeup tutorial for normal makeup? I know you have some with costume makeup, but the basic things like foundation and eyeliner, etc... how do you get that to stay on and look good during a larp? What products do you use?

Hey Larp House! I've been looking into LARP games, and I was curious if you know any large games out here in the Western US?
I know there are a couple chapters of franchise games like World of Darkness and Dystopis Rising, you can also check out the group Larp Haven on Facebook- there are thousands of larpers from all over the world in that group, I'm sure someone will be able to point you to a game in your area!
