    It seems like she has represented muslims as victims (i have not read the book) and justify partition. Moreover, it was not all muslims of south asia which saw themselves as a separate nation but Mr. Jinnah (and muslim league).

    Lets keep a clear distinction between Islam and colonialism. To be a Muslim you do not have to be a Turk, a Persian or an Arab.
    Persians and Turks keep their ethnic names from their cultures. We have beautiful indigenous names and should own them.
    Being Muslim doesn't mean you forget your soil, DNA or culture.
    Never surrender your indigenous identity,
    Never forget the history of your ancestors, Never quit your language.
