Zoogamma: La cogenerazione per il settore della nutrizione animale - EN Subt.

Zoogamma, controllata del gruppo Van Drie, in Italia si occupa di nutrizione animale e, nella filiale di Casalbuttano in particolare trasforma siero di latte in polvere per la produzione di mangimi. Nel corso degli anni lo stabilimento ha incrementato la produzione ed ampliato i propri spazi con un conseguente aumento del fabbisogno energetico che è stato soddisfatto con l'installazione di un primo impianto di trigenerazione, al quale ne è stato affiancato un secondo nel 2018. La forte espansione dell'azienda, anche nel settore food, ha infatti richiesto un maggiore apporto di energia e di calore per il processo produttivo. Le performance attese di entrambi gli impianti sono state confermate non solo dal punto di vista economico ma anche ambientale, con una forte diminuzione di emissioni di CO2.

In Italy Zoogamma, a Van Drie Group company, operates in the animal nutrition sector and, in the Casalbuttano branch (in Lombardy), it transforms whey into powder for the production of feed. Over the years, the branch has increased its production and expanded its spaces, with a consequent increase in energy needs that was satisfied with the installation of a first trigeneration plant which, in 2018, was joined by a second one. The company’s considerable expansion efforts, including in the food sector, has in fact necessitated a greater input of energy and heat for the production process. The expected performance of both plants has been confirmed not only from an economic point of view, but also from an environmental point of view, with a considerable decrease in CO2 emissions.
