So hyped for this, I was a HUGE fan of FP1, and I love the idea that they are amping it up in FP2. Obviously there is some parts of FP1 that made me enjoy it, that is being changed, but I guess I will see if the new stuff can replace those with other cool features and content :)
So the Pilgrims only form if the Stalwarts exist? I wonder what group would form if you choose Faithkeepers (they would need to value Adaptation/Merit/Reason). I kind of wish we could have Stalwarts and Faithkeepers, or even all 8 potential factions. Also, I wonder what happens if you choose "'I don't recognise this symbol" in the prologue: will it have a 50/50 chance of picking Stalwarts/Faithkeepers, or will it just go with Stalwarts, considering that seems to be the 'canon' group?
i think it looks good ,its diffrent, changes it from survival to more of a survival is last social standings first ect, i like the ui design even if others dont, and i like the idea of the game going from a small city to now you are the one who will build massive citys states countrys ect
Very nice looking, and 11bit definitely can be trusted to tell a compelling story, - but as with all concerns, will the increase in population remove the sense of tragedy and connection the player feels for the story. Seeing your population at inconvenient bots with annoying demands will not lead to an empathetic game.
I absolutely love that the game doesn’t replace the original, but gives a fresh experience in the same world. This also maintains the appeal of the original you could play both and be happy unlike the most mega IP’s where you are only going to play the last iteration (most obviously sports games, but loads of games offer only “more of the same”)
i have to say i don't like the increase in scale, many other citybuilders have handled a change like this but still kept the change in politics ect, and it takes away from player agency as they can no longer build individual buildings ect for instance industries of titan still manages to perfectly balance player agency and scale and i hope that in a future update they add back the radial building system with indivudal buildings as i just feel too detached from the city, like it is a statistic and not a tragedy, furthermore the impact of machinist or technocrat changes is sometimes under emphasised on what issues might become prevalant, or how they see people as quantaties and not qualities
It is indeed a significant departure from the first game. I for one support this, I think they were right to try something completely new and fresh instead of making Frostpunk 1.5.
There's something I don't like what I see. One gets the impression, everything that players loved about the first game was removed, so that later the new game can be ported to phones ohhhhhhhhh
It feels different to the first game because it's very clearly not meant to be like the first game. The desperate struggle to survive is over - the test now is to stop ourselves from tearing each other apart.
@@johannsanchocuevas7854wonder if the scenarios we get will revolve around how much harder it will be in the bad ends of FP1 Imagine the main play through is the “we did not cross the line” version of FP1 while the scenarios are even harder starts of emerging from the storm as religious fanatics (maybe trying to stop cults and sects from breaking away) and in another scenario trying to recover the despotism of deep order Would be cool as it would mean the paths in FP1 become that much more important / elaborated on

What is the problem to give us “warehouse district”? That would be a great buffer for housing and extraction district

Frostkit
Idk how long I’ve been waiting for this game. Finally!
Frostpunk was all about immersion of story and storytelling. so in the end campaign or scenarios that come along will make or break the game.
This looks awesome, can’t wait!

We waited half a decade to be disappointed

Jacob is so gorgeous..
FIRST! first human comment at least. i'm not handing it to the bots.
Click all the pictures with bicycles
Click every image with a stoplight.
Move your mouse in a human way
Thats my exact thinking the amount of bots and active CIA operations are off the charts
Its looks amazing , day 1 buy for sure
Will wait for steam reviews, had too many bad gotchas with recent releases
Clearly then you are hearing first time about 11bits game i guess
@@THEPROVOKERwe thought the same with CD project red.
Nah, almost every 11Bit game is great, CDPR struck gold with their 3rd Witcher game.
Easily one of my favorite strategy games in recent memory.
Lool, "the first was the end of the world and you survived" barely loooool
SEND IN THE FAITHKEEPERS

@@jimos4ever322 yeah but the building system is just not it imho plus the ui seems a bit too white but I like it anyway

Also, what did you love about the first game that was removed? The small scale? That's literally the only real big change, the scale..

Wasn't there an app of Frostpunk 1 in phones? Was it called Beyond the Ice?
@@glasses2926True, the city has survive, but the new question is, can it prosper into a democracy?
