It is mind-boggling how Gnome Hollow got yet another mention, this time for its magnets, when Fractured Skies came out in the same year and uses magnets in a much more practical sense.
Coloma used a nice magnetic wheel 5 years ago. IIRC Tom liked the concept a lot too at that time 😉 Nonetheless, magnets are not that often used in games yet
Love to see Arcs at the top of this list. Even more impressive, this is the first video I've seen highlight using B-Roll footage of the actual game and not the version they were still completing during the Kickstarter.
Tom what was your rating for Arcs? I am with you, the game is a masterpiece whether you enjoy playing it or not. I have not discussed whether a game was fun or not more with my friends than any other game, we are 50:50 on it! Some of us love it, some of us respect it at a distance!
@@thedicetower Is there a place I can go to see your rating on games you dont necessarily videos of YOURSELF on? now that I am typing it... I think that might be BGG lol Regardless, thanks for replying, appreciate you and the team!
@@galensgames8587 It's SUPER fun, check it out! Only think you need to know is that you should always try to upgrade your towers to max level before using them.

And Fractured Sky is a better game as well.
And there were games before Fractured Sky that use magnets and did it even better.

Great topic
Best top 10 list up to now. Thanks 👍
Appreciate the inclusion of Super Snipers! I need to check out some of the other games on this list!
Everyone go buy Galen’s Super Snipers!
Cool idea for a list.
Meadow adventure book had cool use of magnets too!

I agree completely with number one.

I rate it an "8", maybe a "7.5". I don't love it as much as everyone else seems to, but I admire it.

I admit I didn't see Arcs at no. 1 coming...
do top 100 on this topic please
👍
I think "Beatz'n'Catz"/Miezekatze would belong in this list having the players to beatbox and memory at the same time.
Tom should look at the Chess boards used on ships on WW2. Those pieces did not move either.
When are we getting the updated top 100 games of all time? :(
In a week or so!
Can we get a 3rd upload with an even newer title?
*10 Games That Were so Different We Decided to Approach Them Differently*
Super Snipers sounds similar to the Kingdom Rush games
I'll have to check that out!

Harrow County was top of the list for me
The dramatized version on audible is great. Pass on game so far. Looked like a lot of abstracts fiddly rules
We are way past Christmas Tom.
