@@raananferreira2654I mean, a hearing aid did send a baby to outer space in that movie, & a tree ornament throws herself in the garbage, to name a couple of things.
Wow! Thanks for covering the game, and with such an excellent toastermuppet!! I may be biased, but I would venture this is your silliest work to date, and that's a high bar.
Malachi Ray Rempen's art brings such life to all games he works on! I wonder if it's a coincidence that the setting feels like a movie out of Roll Camera, his excellent game about making movies together with your bean friends.
Saw new vid of SUSD, then it turns out to be a trick taking game, which I'm not a fan of. Decided to watch the whole review just for Tomster gesticulating
Skull King is a huge favourite for my group and has similar problems as you describe for Power Vacuum. Definitely one I'm going to be looking out for as highly interactive swingy chaos bs is definitely our jam but The Death of Stalin theme is very appealing to me personally.
I never would have thought I needed a trick-taking game that asks, what if The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars took place in the USSR? Hope we see Toaster again. At least in the background.
'do ya want some toast? some nice crisp brown buttered toast?' 'you know the last time you had toast? 18 days ago, 11:36 Tuesday the 3rd' 'i mean whats the point in buying a toaster is Artificial Intelligence if you don't like toast! I mean this is my job this is cruel - just cruel!'
I'm happy for A Toaster with Eyes and Hands. I think this is a decent breakout review but I can't help but wonder how much better this would have been if he had been turned up to 7.
Superb review, I really liked this one. But let me give you a friendly reminder: we'd like to have your top 100 of all time before... the end of time? if possible, of course! xoxo
"People die when they are killed" probably should have been translated as "People die when they're mortally wounded". Perhaps "A mortally wounded person dies." But this is the fun of translation. The two might be referred to by the same word in Japanese (they are very similar concepts), are they in English? You have different sentence structure, where is the emphasis? Etc. Hiring Japanese first language speakers to translate into English is easy because lots of people speak English in Japan and the base media is Japanese so it makes communication easy, but it's a very bad idea.
I disagree. The channel needs fresh blood and I think this toaster guy deserves to be given a chance. Sorry Tom, but that's just the nature of the business.
It really depends on the people playing. With the right group they can be some of the best experiences, but I've definitely found them to be less versatile for that reason.
2025 is the year I stop buying board games. I'm done. Too many overlap. Too many games I've only played once. Too many games I only intend to play once. Too much plastic, boxes, money, bloat, consumerism. I'm not done playing though.
Always interesting when a former child star pops back up after decades away. Brave Little Toaster was a classic
Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars instilled an unnatural, traumatizing dread for me as a child
"pops back up" xD

Absolutely perfect review. In-depth, creative, super helpful, stupidly silly - just plain ol’ good n’ fun. Thanks SUSD! Love y’all way too much.
The fact that this is so clearly inspired by "The Death of Stalin" but with household appliances is just a wonderful mashup.
I don’t know why, but the £8 reward on the wanted poster made me laugh so hard.
I think it's because the amount is humorously low, the unexpectedness of which triggered a laughing response
thank you keen bean for clearly taking soviet design inspiration WITHOUT using Я, И, Э or Д wrongly 🙌 как здорово!!
Ты мега-рад!
I like the Dice Tower, but for some reason I simultaneously LOVE any Dice Tower shade that gets thrown their way by this channel.
Keep it under your hat!
Love the commitment to the bit, keep up the good work.
Videos like this are the reason why I love toasters. Shut Up and Sit Down is also pretty good.
Is this video real or is it an early onset of dementia? Did someone put an edible in my evening tea?

Petition for Toaster Boy to cameo on all future SUST reviews.
Shut Up and Sit Town
Huge kudos for the references to both 6 Music and Noel's House Party!
Jim henson gag was the kicker, didn't expect such a big swing right at the end there. Well played.
I toast, therefore i am. -talkie the toaster, red dwarf
Ah so you're a muffin man!
Came looking for this reference
The puppetry was super duper good though!
Love that you found the right reviewer for the theme of the game :D really does seem brilliantly themed, too :) thank you for sharing
Literally got an advert for a Shark vacuum cleaner before the video. What are you doing to my algorithms, Tom… I mean, Toaster with Eyes and Hands??
So this was A Toaster with Eyes and Hands at a solid 4... 3.9 if we're splitting mustaches... what if we dial him up to 7?
I sooo want this game to be good. I love the Itchy Feet comic and I love that they transitioned into making board games.

Really good puppetry.

Didn't know we'd get a Star Wars-Doctor Who-Ratatouille crossover while making fun of the Dice Tower, but I'm here for it.
The idea of Tom having “Full plug and socket with an air fryer” was not on my 2025 bingo card, but here we are.
Can we keep the toaster...
Hats off for the great puppeteering 👏
Tom put his Christmas break to good to use :D

Why do the toaster arms make me uncomfortable 😂 Great review as always! Y’all are the best in the biz
I listened to the podcast this game was on and though it sounded fun. So glad it got a video review.🤩🤩
OK Toaster needs to become a regular reviewer. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssseeeeeeeeeee

1:40 - The actual plot of RataTWOui.
The fact that a Henry did not make an apperance in this video is deeply concerning.
Nah he was just too expensive
I'm really hoping Tom permanently super glued the eyes to all of his appliances.
If the toaster does not get a regular recurring role, we riot.
haha, what an adorable and funny presentation for the review, good job!
I can't believe you got the Jim Henson company to work on this review! The production quality really shows with those impossible shots
Great review Mr Toaster. Please give my greetings to your uncle Big Bin Barry! We used to fight together in the Blackout Wars of 2003.
That is some excellent puppeteering.

#suggestion A video on your S tier trick takers/card games if this one doesn't make it to the highest level?
It's quite good. Played it a couple of times on bga. Where to buy the real version?

God, i love this toaster.
This Toaster guy is great, here's hoping they fire Tom and keep him.
