19:17 "The look on your face when you're staring at the internet is not replicable. There's a blankness to that that is, like, everything. It's like... mixing every color together and getting white." goddamn... wow.
10:57 "shyness is not cowering in a corner and not speaking, it is trying to speak at every moment." I haven't seen many people with audiences understand what shyness and social anxiety is. it's not, for me at least, not wanting to speak, it's desperately trying to. It's not that shy people don't have things to say, we do. idk if this makes any sense but this is what draws me to Bo, he understands shyness and anxiety in a way most performers don't
Im im eighth grade, and I am so drawn to Bo and I respect literally everything that comes out of his mouth. I never really knew why, but I know now it is because he gets it, he is such an articulate person and he is able to help me realise what I feel as a young person and its absolutely amazing. Sorry you had to listen to me ramble, thanks.
Same. I think I feel a lot of the same things that bo does and he is able to articulate those feelings so well and it's really cool cause I'm not at all lol
I find it crazy that I’ve also had these feelings since I found him in eighth grade (8 years ago), and I’m just now realizing how universal this experience is now in growing up.
This was a really great video. Awesome questions, awesome answers, and huge props to the interviewer for letting Bo go on his tangents and speak out. He did a great job interviewing.
Bo: *metaphors and shit that only he and a few ppl will understand * Ppl: yes that’s smart shit Me: *does the same thing* Ppl: wtf are u even saying *weird looks* *judgement*
Well, i mean, hes in an interview, the perfect place for smart and deep talk. You shouldnt give a speech based on the human condition based on 13 year olds at the cashiers in a dollar tree
Well, my English Listening is making me regret existing so, can someone please write me what are Bo's filmmakers references, as he lists some of them in 35:33. I'd really appreciate.

thanks to this film the most interviews bo has ever done and I love it...cannot stop watching
Can't wait for any interview on 'inside' if he ever does one......! I doubt it though.....
Bo burnham is a great person. I hope more people aspire to be like him.

Bo is amazing and so intelligent. He has really cool point of views that got me thinking a lot. Thank you for uploading this.
Yes, i will watch every interview about this even if now after first 10 they all seem the same.
i'm in the same boat
@@linn4111 come on in, the water's fine
Yeah, but at the same time he says some new insanely thought provoking one liners in each interview
19:18 *a little bit of everything
all of the time*
I WISH bo would point me out in a crowd randomly
Yeah! I...
Disagree.

The interviewer has a great podcast called We Hate Movies and it was cool seeing him doing an interview with one of my favorite comedians.
" a human of humans "

I think at 5:50 Bo is taking stab at John Green novels

28:49 I loved this
That must have made that boys day
19:40 a real zinger
5:12 I bet he got some flashbacks from that if you know what I mean 😂
"If they're under 13 do them in your head."
"Why don't you just go stand by the security guards over there."
